After an ancient human killing virus buried deep in the pyramids of Egypt leaked into the world , two thirds of the population was wiped out and the rest was left in disarray. William , one of the leading scientists trying to find a cure for the virus was sealed in a bunker when the infection was at it's worst. Over forty years later , humanity lost its place as the leaders of the world and degraded to scattered savages . Lily , a scout who was on the hunt for food , discovered William's bunker by accident hidden high in the snowy mountains. Now he has to move heaven and earth , to save the human race from a mutated form of the virus that is even more potent that the last one at the same time teaching the new people the ways of the old civilization that once ruled the earth.

During the time that Acolet had been busy with Aisha , Lily was able to quietly slip past the crowds and she found herself outdoors at the quiet garden of the city park , which was just adjacent to the stadium and could be accessed through a back door.

There were a few scattered concrete seats there and most were occupied by elderly people that were just making use of the silence to meditate upon their lives.

She , just like them , also had a lot to meditate on her plate and so she picked out an empty seat perfectly set under the shade of a large fig tree.

Ever since moving to Genesis city , her knowledge of combating the virus had been weaponized by Acolet and employed to develop new and more potent zoonotic variations of the virus.
