AiLin had arrived back to the party hall before the Jiang Family could commence the birthday party. As she had took upon herself a non alcoholic drink due to her allergy, she found from the corner of her eyes a tall man that was leaning back on a wall with boredom written on his face. The walls of the parties are usually served for people who couldn't receive attention or didn't want to have the attention but her ears perked when she heard loud squeals and whispers as women gather in swoon over Li ZiChen.

He looked happy earlier but now he seemed annoyed. She didn't pay much attention to it though and turned away. She didn't note the fact that his hair was shorter than she had seen earlier with the sides of his hair was taped cleanly. He looked like a gentleman but a dangerous one. In his black suit, his body fit perfect on the black vest. His upper body was clearly much broader than his torso, his legs long, and his style was akin to a royalty. He really seems like someone with the blood of a noble. But AiLin didn't note this down. She really didn't.

With eyes focused on the party hall, she seemed to have gathered the attention of another group of people. Women who saw her with envy and men who couldn't help but try to shoot their shot. One of them started to walk to her, offering his company but AiLin only turned her foxy eyes, smiled, and went back to silence, giving a clear boundaries.

She didn't want to have any relationship again. Not when she had ruined… that boy's life.

Whenever AiLin closed her eyes and fall into sleep the past six years inside the prison she had been haunted with nightmares. Nightmares that are even worse than her own life as a prisoner. In it she would always make the same decision and watched the same expression of sadness washing over his face. Her guilt had caused her to deeply forget the boy's face in the back of her head but she remembered well his broken voice, his pleading and begging for them to remain together but her choice to leave him for the sake of her family.

How she wished she could have gone back and told him that the family she had chosen over him had turned their backs to her. The one who had only stayed by her side was him back then, and she had tossed him aside.

Knowing how gentle the boy was as he wrapped his hands around hers and gently kissed the back of her hand made her certain that he was someone who would have grown up into a perfect gentleman now. He must have grown up into a more handsome man, and someone with a loving wife and an adorable child.

Not someone from the prison like her.

"Miss, may I stand beside you?" A voice of someone gathered AiLin's attention.

She had just imagined the soft hand of a boy that was slightly bigger than her and a wide smile of sunshine as he stared into her eyes, showing his affection by his gaze and words. Now a new man had stood in front of her with glasses on the bridge of his nose and a smile that he tried so hard to appear confident.

Unlike the man from earlier who was obviously staring at her breast, she could tell he was just amazed but her. AiLin had always received love confession so she knew she looks well and wasn't too surprised but he wasn't someone she would usually attract. She looked at him and nod once, "It's an empty spot."

"Thank you," the man smiled and laughed nervously. He wrung his hand and looked at her hand, "You should try the alcohols. It's an alcohol imported from Vienna by the Jiang's close friends."

"Really? Who is that people?" AiLin curiously asked.

"You don't know them? They are the new company that had just raised in name. The alcoholic beverage company, WrathFlower."

AiLin hadn't heard it before but she wondered why the name of the company stuck in her head. "It seems that the party is getting a bit late."

"Yes apparently Jiang NianNian is held back by a sudden problem, I hope it's nothing too troublesome. Ah right, my name is Yu HanYu." The man reached out his hand for a handshake and in return AiLin held back his hand with a soft nod. Seeing she didn't introduced her name the man first waited until he accepted the refusal in a slight disappointment. "It's my first time seeing you here, were you invited by someone?"

"Someone," muttered AiLin. She did got the invitation long ago but the one who helped her enter was Li ZiChen. Just as her eyes moved to the corner of her eyes she could see the demanding gaze that came from the man who was surrounded by all the women in the party. His eyes stared at her and even though earlier he was holding a smile when they meet eyes, this time his eyes turned ruthless as he glared at the man who was standing beside her.

"Then you must be Miss Jiang's friend," quickly Yu HanYu said with a faint chuckle.

"Something like that. Do you know Miss Jiang yourself, Mister Yu?" She asked the man in return.

"Somehow I know her brother more, Jiang MengYao." Yu HanYu didn't know that AiLin's face immediately turned frigid at the mention of the perverted bastard. He then continued, "I myself is the director of a start up company. You know the app that is known to help people who are blind detect the screen of their phones and other electronics? That is my work and I'm quite proud of it."

"I see," AiLin said. Honestly she wasn't impressed as she didn't come to look for a man with a good background. "So You have known Jiang MengYao for a while now, how did you know each other?"

"Ah so, I am well known in electronic industries and one day Jiang MengYao asked for my help to retrieve a memory from an old camera that he had. I tried helping him but.. that camera was already busted."

AiLin's whole body trembled slowly. Camera. Camera. Yes she knew that one camera Jiang MengYao always has with him. The one full with images. She immediately moved closer to Yu HanYu and showed him a demure smile, "Do you know what happened to that camera then? Seems like it is really important I actually know a few people who might be able to help with that?"

Yu HanYu saw her pleading eyes. Those foxy gaze seemed to be quick in showing gentleness even though one would usually feel wary by it at first.

"Unfortunately I have tossed the cameras aside. You are free to have it but I doubt you can ever recover the memories seeing how me and my team couldn't do it," answered Yu HanYu, "Are you someone interested in technology as well?"

"Yes actually," AiLin gently agreed. "It's been my dream to work with mechanics and I usually love challenges. I like the ones that are hard to crack even most," she placed her hand on the man's shoulders. Of course she has no attraction to him. But that camera worth her life. She couldn't have it falling to someone else's hands even if Yu HanYu said that the memories were impossible to retrieve.

She gritted her teeth. That bastard Jiang MengYao! He knew what is in there and recklessly had someone else to retrieve the memories? Doesn't he fear his true nature would be shown by the people who saw the pictures inside that camera?!

As much as she wanted to lit every one of Jiang Family in fire she couldn't do it yet. Her angel wasn't killed so quickly but slowly. They would suffer that too.

Yu Hanyu's heart thumped as he felt AiLin's hand on his shoulders. He had never seen someone so seductive yet so innocent! Her air was the air of a woman that no men could easily obtain, someone who leads, someone who protects. She is a loyal woman and a gorgeous one at that, something any men in the room could feel but felt unworthy to her.

He was happy and thought he had received a blessing by God as AiLin seemed to be very eager to hear him.

"I also love technologies! It's rare to find ladies who are interested in it… I…" Yu HanYu continued his excited speech seeing her interest.

She could hear him talking but her eyes couldn't tear itself away from the man who was narrowing his eyes and flexing his snake tattooed hand. He was holding tight to his glass only until it began to crack and shatter, startling everyone near them and her. Even with the glass shattering to pieces, his eyes were still on her, his gaze burning and flickering every second that pass as if he was about to start a horrendous blaze between them.

A certain flicker appeared in her ashy heart and she found herself not knowing what the overwhelming sensation that had overfilled her heart to the man she had just seen tonight.

She could hear Yu HanYu continuing to speak as she saw Li ZiChen setting his glass aside and walking toward her. His imposing stance was in a hurry as if to come beside her and drive a force between her and Yu HanYu.
