CXLIII: Acts Of A Mother

While Judith had awaited midnight, she took the time to Cultivate, else she would spend her time thinking of the multiple ways things could go wrong.

She had spent several hours Cultivating, trying to get her third Meridian unlocked. But unlike the second, this one had been quite difficult, near impossible.

This time around, the Cultivation Space had changed not by much but yet significantly.

First of said changes were the statues. Now each on were half their size, were faster and carried weapons.

The first time Judith had tried to get passed this Space, she was cut in half. But after a dozen plus trial and error she had built a muscle memory and reflex to evade as much of their attacks as possible.

But that was just one hurdle to get through, because the second change that happened to the Cultivation Space was that the distance at which the stone gate was located had now doubled in its previous length, so that now it stood thirty meters away.
