Stolen.

With the man out of Professor McGonagall's office, Loki executed his well-thought-out plan.

Looking at the time on his pocket watch, Loki counted down until he reached, 'Three Twenty-Nine.'

A fluttering piece of paper came down from the dark tall gothic roof and landed on the man's hand causing him to pause.

He looked around and not finding anyone else, picked up the paper that had landed on his hand.

'This is you from the future. A boy will walk into the corridor from the right.'

The man read the short letter and then looked to his right where there was no one standing.

Just as he was about to raise his guard up and contact his colleagues for immediate help as per protocol in this situation, a boy stepped into the corridor, he looked around confusedly while searching for something in the corridor.

A slight chill ran up the man's spine.

He immediately looked around everywhere but didn't find anyone else there with him, his grip on the box holding the time turner tightened.

Then he felt the paper in his hand burn.

He looked at it immediately and read the new words that had formed on it.

'The boy is there to steal the time turner. Turn around and calmly pretend you didn't notice him. Once he bumps into you, drop the box. We will teach the boy a lesson on what happens to those that mess with the Unspeakables.'

What the note said did not make much sense, but having proved its validity, the man did as he was told and turned around and began walking patiently until the boy started moving in his direction.

Once the boy bumped into him, the man dropped the box as he was told to by the short letter.

He turned around to immediately pick it up, but he felt the letter in his hand burn again so he shifted his attention to it instead of the boy.

'Let the boy hand you the box and once he gives it back to you take the time turner back from his left pocket.'

The man looked at the boy and realised he hadn't even seen him slip the time turner into his pocket.

'He's good. I would've been fooled had it not been for this note.'

'But how did he open the box?'

'Well, whatever, ha! I'm so smart to use the time-turner to help myself! I should be given a raise!'

The man waited and the boy calmly handed the box back over, "Erm… I'm sorry for bumping into you. I was just looking for Professor McGonagall's office."

The man opened the box and found nothing inside it.

"No worries." The man said calmly before pulling out his wand and sticking it to the boy's throat. "Listen here you little shite! Give me back the Time Turner now!! And if you don't tell me who ordered you to do this, I will break every bone in your body and force you to live-"

The man was about to continue cursing at the boy and torture him when suddenly he saw him smile.

"Were you now? How cute. Well, goodbye. And next time, don't take orders from a piece of paper." The boy said and vanished, just like that causing the man to become rooted on his spot.

The man quickly opened the box to check if it was empty or if the Time-Turner had really been stolen but he couldn't find the box he was just holding.

"Wha- Where did the box- Huh!?"

The man was surprised and quickly checked everywhere around himself, and to his surprise, the box was still lying at his feet.

He quickly opened the box and looked at the Time Turner that was right there, no one had taken it out.

He then looked at his hand trying to find the note that he was reading off of, but found nothing.

'Did I just hallucinate everything?'

The man quickly looked at the time-turner again and verified that it was still inside the box-

'No! This has got to be the work of some Beyonder or someone using a mystical item.'

'I have to report this!!!'

The man increased his walking speed and rushed towards the Hogwarts gates so he could immediately apparate away to the secure location of the Unspeakable's office.

With a *POP* the man arrived at the emergency location as he rushed towards his superior's office.

"Agent! You have to state your purpose before you can enter his offi-" the receptionist shouted from behind but the man ignored her and rushed into the office.

"Mam!! USP code 007 reporting! I have urgent news to deliver!!"

"Mam I'm sorry! But the man just started to run and there was noth-" The receptionist who was trying to stop the man from entering entered the office but the boss already inside just raised her hand and silenced her.

"You may leave us alone." the woman said and the receptionist fearfully nodded before leaving to go to her desk.

"USP code 007 you said? Weren't you sent to retrieve the Time Turner from Hogwarts? What happened? Did 'He' do something to interrupt you and keep the device?"

"No mam!" USP 007 said with a salute and after receiving a short nod from his senior he continued, "The image of a child interrupted me on my mission, he vanished shortly after, but I managed to keep the Time Turner with me."

"A child?" The man asked confused.

"Yes Mam! The child was about a hundred and sixty centimetres and appeared to use illusions, I couldn't confirm what Beyonder Pathway he was from, but I am quite sure he was a Beyonder."

The woman's eyes suddenly narrowed when she heard about it.

"Hmm…you said you got back the Time Turner? Give it to me."

"Yes mam!" The man saluted again and loosening his iron grip on the case, transferred the item to his senior.

"Let's see." The woman slowly opened the box and looked at it. "Huh…" Her pupils dilated quite a bit before shrinking down to a pinprick.

"What happened Mam!?"

"You said that you kept the Time Turner protected."

"Yes Mam!"

"...then why's this here and not the Time Turner?"

The woman slowly turned the box on the table around and let the agent see exactly what she was seeing.

Inside the velvet box was a small piece of paper with the words, 'You got Jebaited.'

There was a picture of a green frog wearing clown's makeup and hair while looking off into the distance with a smile.

At the end of it all was a small verse, 'The Error Got You.'

The agent felt a shiver run down his spine as he pointed his finger at the box and said, "Bu- but, I checked! It was right there! The Time turner- it was right there!!"

"The box cannot be opened by anyone else other than an Unspeakable, agent." The woman said as politely as she could but the agent's hands still trembled.

"Bu- But…"

The woman took a deep breath and exhaled a soft *sigh* like she was looking at something tiresome.

USP 007 who had just delivered the news felt a chill travel down his spine. A sense of authority suddenly befell him as he felt the shadows in the room exaggerate until all he could see were the glowing eyes of the woman in front of him.

Unable to bear the weight, he collapsed onto the ground as he simply stared at her wordlessly.

The woman didn't care much about it. She simply flicked her wand and caused a small ethereal bird to form out of her elegant wand. The bird gave her a short nod before leaving the room through the door.

The woman then spoke a single word in ancient Latin-

"Imprison."

The man suddenly found himself trapped in a small section of the room, surrounded by transparent walls that were nigh impenetrable.

Outside the office, a man looked at the little bird that had flown into his room with a calm gaze as he snuffed out his cigar.

The bird opened its mouth and instead of a *tweet* spoke in the voice of a woman with tremendous calm and patience, "Inform 'Her' that the Time Turner has gone missing in Hogwarts.-"

"-Why waste 'Her' time just for that?" The man interrupted, disappointed at having snuffed his cigar but the bird continued to speak.

"The target can use illusions and uses strange terms like 'Jebaited'."

The man froze in his place before he slowly turned to look at the bird with wide eyes.

"The hell!!!???"

The man quickly shook his head and patted his cheeks before gulping down a shot and penning a letter.

'After all the infiltrating we did on our own strength, we finally have some results…'

'Amelia will be happy to finally find information regarding 'Him'.'
