With the aim to merge Tom's soul with his previous body, which was corrupted by Cheek's will still, Loki started to work.
The body had already begun shrinking since Loki hadn't taken care of storing it away properly in any decent way.
But the Sefirah Castle, or rather the grey fog within it, had kept Loki's body in 'proper' condition, not allowing it to go much beyond the point of initial stages of rigor mortis.
The body wasn't exactly cold to touch, but it wasn't warm either, it was somewhere in between, like touching warm liquid in a pouch.
Loki worked tirelessly through the weeks trying to piece together Tom's soul piece by piece with as much focus as he could but things weren't turning out as he had hoped.
'Do I need Luna's help after all?'
'What will I even tell her when I ask her for help regarding this?'
'Given Luna won't have too many questions…'
'But it'll still probably be strange…'
So Loki put his efforts with merging Tom's soul and his body on the back burner for now while focusing on something different, Mr. Error's 'Holy' Bible.
Things moved very slowly since Loki had to invent a lot of stories based on books in the Room of Requirements, based on what Salazar Slytherin and Rowena Ravenclaw had written about Mr. Error.
So his days fell into a simple routine of reading books after teleporting into Hogwarts, Hogwarts wards couldn't block his Beyonder abilities not because he was special in some way, but because the castle seemed to avoid stopping him in anyway, before he sat down and inscribed the stories bit by bit into his holy bible.
But something strange troubled him-
'This…'
'Why do Rowena and Salazar talk about me using different bodies to meet them? They sometimes refer to me as being shorter than them, while other times I'm taller…what's going on?'
'Were those my Avatars?'
'...but why would I reveal that to them?'
'Wouldn't I just use illusions to cover up my appearance?'
'Granted I never answered their question as to why I had different bodies each time I was present…why does it seem like there is something amiss?'
Time passed by slowly as Loki came to enjoy living with Sirius a little.
Sirius had tried multiple times to leave the house to go to meet Dumbledore for some secret meetings that Loki had no idea about since they were so well guarded that his normal divinations couldn't pry into them.
He could've gone above the Sefirah Castle, but Loki didn't want to have to see something he shouldn't have and plan his actions in some silly way again to avoid Dumbledore from finding out he knew something about it, for now, he was going to learn about it in the Tarot Club Meetings anyway when Sirius and Snape gathered again.
But each time Sirius tried to leave, he was stopped either by Walburga herself or mostly Kreacher who had been ordered to do so by Walburga much to his delight.
With the Tarot Club meetings on hold for the summer since everyone seemed to want to take a leave to do something personal, Loki found himself quite interested in the next meeting where he could more easily read Sirius and Snape's body of heart and mind to learn more about the situation.
But alongside working on merging Tom's soul and his old body and the 'Holy Bible', Loki was also working on something rather special.
Loki was working on the first edition of magical spells that would be recorded into the Error God's bible.
Loki was going to set up a system of spells that he would grant his followers, cheap imitations of his lower Sequence Beyonder abilities.
It was turning out to be a rather strange set that held esoteric spells and mysticism knowledge of the world that had never been seen before in the wizarding world, things like spells that could manipulate chain spell casting etc. which Loki had learnt from Rowena's books.
Loki wasn't giving everyone access to these tricks directly, he was only using his worms of time to act as intermediary, promising them the effect if they worshiped him.
So Loki worked hard to make it all comprehensible and even added a reward system for his believers that would give everyone who spread his religion in a widespread manner the ability to ask for a small wish.
The wish he would grant wasn't anything grand or majestic. It ranged from wishing for a helping get rid of curses and corruption since Loki was aiming for the nobles that Voldemort had corrupted, to simple people around the wizarding world who needed a little bit of money.
And after two weeks, Loki was finally done with the first edition of the book.
'Finally!'
With the book in his hands completed, Loki immediately teleported to room 2-21 in Hogwarts. From there, Loki quickly stole the newspaper printer and brought it to his room in the Black Manor.
Flicking his wand to silence any noises the machine would produce, Loki rearranged the settings on the machine before dropping his book into the slot that the machine would use to scan and print its pages.
Leaving the machine running Loki finally caught himself relaxing a little as he took a much-needed break to drink some juice.
After he was done with his juice, Loki walked out of his room and started searching for Walburga to pick her mind, for fun.
'Where's grandma though…'
"Kreacher…"
*POP*
"Yes master?"
"Where's grandma?"
"Kreacher was told Lady Black and Master Black have gone out of the house to attend a funeral, Master."
"Ah…"
Loki froze in his spot.
He closed his eyes as sorrow-filled memories surfaced in his mind.
Seeing Loki's reaction, Kreacher's eyes widened, "Has Kreacher done something wrong, my lord?"
Loki quickly shook his head, "No Kreacher, you did nothing wrong. Thank you for letting me know. Do you know where the Greengrass family's home is?"
Kreacher nodded, "Kreacher knows. It is near the Fortuna Village. The Greengrass family are the traditional Lords of the village."
Loki thanked him and Kreacher went back to scrubbing a few old painting frames while Loki teleported to his room and quickly changed into the appropriate clothes.
He gave himself a glance in the mirror to iron out any kinks on his suit, he then adjusted his tie before nodding to himself after finding no more errors in his decorum which had been refreshed by Walburga recently.
Staring at his eyes Loki found himself unable to come up with something to cheer himself up. So without wasting any more time, Loki stole his sadness and vanished from his room again, reappearing this time in the vicinity of Fortuna.
Standing on a small hill nearby, Loki easily spotted the Greengrass family manor at the edge of the village. It was much larger than the Black Family manor and bordered a large botanical forest that contained several exceptionally rare herbs and flowers.
Loki observed the procession from a distance.
For some reason as soon as Loki laid eyes on the silent Astoria who was sitting with her mom, he found himself unable to take a step closer to the venue.
Astoria was greeting everyone who arrived at the mansion with her mother. There were no smiles involved. It was mostly just face showing.
There was an unspoken solemn silence that hung in the area, which Loki could see was not of the magical sort. Yet it was strangely 'magical' in its own way since even though Loki couldn't feel any sort of sadness he could feel his chest clench up with sorrow.
It was strange for Loki since he had never felt like this before.
