Problems.

Dumbledore turned around to look at the students once again, and was about to speak-

"As with the amazing Triwizard tournament last year, inter-house quidditch had been cancelled to accommodate the competitio-"

*HE* *HE*

Dolores Umbridge *laughed* awkwardly, in a mostly melodic tone that felt like she was mocking everyone that could hear her, to interrupt Dumbledore as she stood from her seat before placing her pink handbag onto the table and walking over to stand beside Dumbledore.

It was a little comical to students in the hall, how Dolores was nearly two and a half heads shorter than Dumbledore, but everyone kept their giggles inside for now since Dolores was looking through the audience with wide inquisitive eyes, scanning each student's faces and expressions.

Dumbledore had paused to look at Dolores with a little confusion, but just as he was about to speak again, after ignoring her, Dolores spoke again.

"Thank you, headmaster, for your kind words of welcome.", Umbridge said with a sweet smile. And before Dumbledore could say, or do anything, she turned towards the students in the Great Hall.

"It is my utmost pleasure to meet you today.", Dolores said in a sweet tone, with a wide smile on her face. "Hogwarts has been a school of magic and wonder! Of adventure and progress for you on your journey to learn and unravel the secrets of magic."

There was a soft pause as the students settled into paying her unignorable high-pitched voice attention before Umbridge spoke again.

"As such, I'm sure you care very much about the most ancient school in the history of magic teaching you only the very best. Facts that are proven, and are not intertwined with personal biases."

"With each headmaster bringing their own touch to the education of you young little wizards, we've arrived at today, a day where the power to use this pinnacle of magic lies within your responsible hands."

"I am here to help guide you so that your hands remain safe and unscared as we progress through working with magic's intricacies."

Umbridge paused there before taking one last look at every student in silence as she spoke in an even higher pitched sugary sweet tone-

"With you all like this; I'm sure we'll become the greatest friends!"

"Ewwww…" Everyone heard Fred and George interrupt as soon as Dolores ended, but Dumbledore managed to save them from anything Dolores might plan to do by interrupting with a soft *clap* immediately.

No one wanted to hear her ramble of in her high pitched voice once again anymore…

So the *clap* travelled like an infectious disease and spread throughout the hall, making Dolores mask her feelings with a sweet smile once again before she walked back to her chair and sat down while looking at everyone just as intently as she had done before.

'I wonder what pathway she's from.' Loki wondered as he looked at Dolores.

His eyes trailed all over her spirit body before they latched onto the strange feeling that he was being watched as he watched Dolores herself.

'This…'

'Is she a spectator?'

Loki's brows jumped up in surprise and he looked at Dumbledore who had calmly gone back to talking about Quidditch being resumed in the upcoming year.

Everyone *cheered* for the return of the quidditch matches and forgot about Umbridge.

At the end of dinner, everyone left for their dormitories while Loki moved to his favourite spot in the castle, the Room of Requirements.

Entering the room, Loki found the two crystals remaining.

He used his spirit vision to check if the remaining two true gods were still trapped in there, and found them to be trapped in it so he didn't do much else as he quickly entered the Sefirah castle.

From there Loki blessed himself with the time turner which he used to quickly send Hermione a letter by travelling about three hours to the past.

Rowley could've been a little confused when he was summoned since he could detect his contractor in two places at once, but Loki solved it easily by using a ritual to summon Rowley instead of just his whistle which formed a more stable anchor to the real world from the spirit world.

With the letter sent, Loki tried analyzing the scenario he was in.

'Why in god's name did I send that letter to Mione?'

Rowley returned to Loki with his usual enthusiasm and earned a few dry snacks to munch on before he was sent back to the spirit world.

With no other clue or way to think about the issue in sight, Loki quickly went up to the Sefirah Castle and performed a simple dream divination.

"The reason I sent a letter to Hermione about the number of candy beans inside the cart lady's jar."

Loki repeated the sentence seven times before slipping into a cogitation-induced dream that caused his vision to swim through the spirit world.

Colours shifted and Loki found himself viewing random things before his vision settled on himself.

He saw himself calling Rowley using a ritual before he sent a letter to Hermione.

That was all he saw and he was rightly confused about it.

The vision shattered like glass after that, causing him to wake up.

'Huh?'

'What?'

'Why did I send her the letter?'

'The heck was that!?'

Loki closed his eyes to go through the vision once again, trying to understand exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it, but his introspection led to no trails.

He just couldn't understand what was happening.

"This…was it simply a bend in time? Is it something strange that just happens randomly? Is it something to do with owning the time turner itself?"

"The heck!?"

Loki quickly pulled the time turner to himself and began to examine its runes for any changes, trying to find something that might've changed about it which would've caused him to send a letter to Hermione.

But-

'Nothing!'

'It's exactly as I remember it to be!'

'How is this possible!?'

'Is it some true god?'

'Did Salazar conceal the real reason?'

'Or Dumbledore?'

Loki frowned when he thought this far, but since he didn't have any way to prove his theories, he shook his head and exited the Sefirah Castle.

'I hope it doesn't happen again…'

'...Whatever that was.'

Loki spent the night in the very convenient Room of Requirements while studying random books Rowena had written about Magic and its intricacies.

He read through the books with a mystical flare as he came across a rather strange concept that Rowena talked about in her books.

"Each magic leaves an imprint on fate so that it can be traced? Is that how the Ministry of Magic's underage wizards' magic trace system works?"

Loki quickly pulled out his wand and flicked it to cause a small white orb to shoot out of it. He'd just used the Lumos spell.

Loki used his spirit vision to carefully dissect the entire spell from its beginning to its end, but he didn't find any spirit body threads attached to it.

"Perhaps only more complicated spells are marked?"

Loki flicked his wand once again and performed a simple shadow manipulation spell, causing an appendage made out of the chair's shadow to rise from the floor and delicately wrap around the handle of the teacup that was sitting on his desk.

Loki frowned even as he sipped on the tea that the floating teapot served him.

'No spirit threads for that either.'

'....did she mean something else?'

'Or is something interfering with me and my magic specifically? Making it untraceable? Probably not…'

'But why wouldn't I be able to see the spirit body threads of my magic specifically?'

'Maybe there are no spirit body threads at all? ...I'll try this on others in class tomorrow.'
