Inherited houses

The days after that were hectic for Raj. He had more rallies in his area. Ruling party ministers continued visiting the area. And he was always in frontline for their campaigns. Kenny refused candidacy from Vidhangarh which now Bhavna was contesting. They were doing up downs between both the constituencies. Kenny had her hands full arranging the visits, rallies and small parties for them. Solly headed the security arrangements with Kiara as his partner.

ON THE BUSINESS FRONT

Offers poured in for clothes from Mumbai cloth market and with Rakesh's help silk farming was revived . Raj himself visited Sahyadris where silk farming for his business was done. As finances flowed in quality improved. Though Shai and Myra were frontrunners in cloth quality and accounts along with Raj and Parry; Kenny was involved a lot.

But the biggest success came for the art department.

" Rahul lets finalise the paintings and the positions. The art confiscated from your mother by Raj should be displayed too", said Kenny.

" I got a few paintings of Vishnu from Maddy's store. There is a series called DEVIL", he said.

" I need to see that. The boy was scary", said Kenny.

" Criminal minds", said Rahul. " Hey wait we saw some good art at Myra's place. Can we borrow it"?

" We need to ask Manav uncle", she said.

" Show me your painting".

" I will when its completed", he smiled.

She pouted. He laughed. She hit him playfully. He ran. She ran behind him laughing.

And Raj stood outside the art gallery his thoughts full of murder looking at this.

Looking at Raj Rahul's demeanour hardened.

Raj and Rahul stared at each other for some time before Raj quietly walked away.

Meanwhile

" So you work at paradise", said the tea-seller to Payal.

" I have just joined", she replied.

" How is the work", he asked.

" Very hard. I clean tables twice to thrice a day even when they are clean. Also scrubbing floors, making beds. Even the guests are very difficult", she grimaced.

" Yes really hard these days", said another waitress sipping tea. " Earlier it used to be a small sea-front with small stalls. Now all big hotels and fancy restaurants ".

" Yeah actually where paradise is now earlier there was a dream bar. Police raided it", said another customer.

" Police", Payal appeared shocked.

" Yes", said the tea seller. " There was a basement full of weapons. Illegal deals, mafias".

" Did police take them all those criminals ", she asked looking scared.

" Police got nothing. Most of them ran away", said another small patty seller. " Maybe they changed places. Poor Vikram Oberoi who caught them. He is dead too".

Payal itched to ask more but Solly has clearly told her not to ask questions. BASEMENT..that is what he was searching. Walias knew nothing of it.

She quietly came back and started working again. She was in one of the rooms when she heard.

" I couldn't find it sir.. No no I searched hard. I don't think she even knew about it. I think its the houses. Riya Oberoi hid them there. That girl inherited them. Friend's daughter. Maybe there we can. The name...ohh Kanupriya..where ..I need to follow. Okay sir then. I will not kill her until I have location".

Payal was out of breath. It was God's intervention she heard this. This man was searching something Riya Oberoi hid. Queen Kanupriya was in danger. And it was related to houses she inherited.

She took leave from work.

" My father is ill", she said to manager. She rushed back to Lonavala. Its here she will meet Solly or Santosh.

" It was Vikram Oberoi's dream project", said Riya.

" Yes", he said. " Do you know he bought houses all over the world.

" Yeah", she said with embarrassment. She did nothing to own them. Inherited houses...What will she do?

" Well Mr. Deshmukh was the architect of this palace", said Rahul. " Vikram liked it so much that he mimicked the architecture in those houses he bought".

" Really who told you", she asked.

" Mr. Deshmukh. He visited the house Vikram bought in Australia ", said Rahul.

" That's when Vikram told him".

" That's wierd", said Riya.

" Oh he really was typical. He thought Riya would feel home everywhere in the world", said Rahul.

" Love", she sighed. " So beautiful "!

" Yeah really beautiful ", said Rahul staring at her.

Meanwhile

" Payal what is hidden in those houses whatever that other man was searching ", asked Raj.

" I have no idea your highness. He just mentioned the houses and queen's name. I thought I need to alert you", she replied.

" Thank you ", said Raj.

" My duty sir", she said.

" Kiara Solly is arriving. Keep that man under surveillance ", said Raj. " He must not escape".

" NEVER", she said firmly.

" Payal join back as usual. Don't come in anyone's eye. Kiara will move in As a customer. Clear".

" Crystal sir", she said.

" Over and out", said Raj cutting the call.

" Solly I want him alive".

" On that", said Solly as he left.

Raj was excited. A lead at last. So Cobra want those inherited houses.

YES IT IS THERE IN ONE OF THOSE RIYA HID THE WEAPON.

Meanwhile at an unknown place

" No one will harm her. Just quietly find a way to enter those houses", said Colonel.

" We can infiltrate her staff", said one of the soldier.

" No her security is top grade", said Colonel. He knew her sister was in security. "Try to enter as members working in those houses. Report me".

" Yes colonel ".

"WELL PLAYED VIKRAM", he hissed.

" Houses haan who would have thought. But your father did not think so too. And now I shall change the prophecy.
