You both will be married today

A day after Kenny was released from hospital Raj took Kenny to wish granting temple. They were here for different reasons. Kenny to find a cure for Raj's curse and Raj as digging for lock got him nothing.

"Well grandpa was positive Riya never visited after Vicky's passing", said Parry.

"Probably we can get something in those houses", said Maddy.

" We are still nowhere on what Vikram hid", said Solly.

" Amit Khurana is out", said Ro.

" Keep an eye on him", Raj ordered Solly.

" He is going to make a move for shares. Crunch the debt net".

Raj was sure he was getting Amit Khurana's shares.

A bit too sure. But will he?

Kenny tied a bell in the temple and prayed.

" Help me find a solution to break the curse Shiva."

Raj was not enthusiastic.

" You want to save him", he sulked.

" I want to save you both", she said calmly.

They came behind and started cleaning the discarded idol.

" I did not find the lock", he said.

" Ask directions from Shiva. He won't disappoint", said Kenny.

" Hmm then before returning I will tie a bell too", he said.

Pundit Agnisharma was not at the temple. No one knew where he was.

While returning on a whim Raj asked the driver to visit the ashram.

" Lets go to my birthplace", he said.

She agreed.

The ashram stood in serenity inside the blessed forest. A small Shiva temple was adjacent to it. There was a fast flowing hilly river. Cows mooed and birds chirped marking its arrival. A small farm and vegetable garden was maintained by them. There was a flower garden too. Filled with scent of variouus wild and local flowers.

The moment they stepped down small children came running to him crying

" Rajeev bhaiya aa gaye Rajeev bhaiya aa gaye"(Brother Rajeev is here brother Rajeev is here)

Kenny's face lit up seeing so many children and Raj interacting with them. He picked one girl up and asked

" How is your school Vaishali"?

" I got full marks in Maths", she replied proudly.

Raj congratulated her. He had bought chocalates and biscuits on the way to Ashram. He distributed it to all the kids.

" I fell in love with you all over again seeing you with the kids", she whispered.

He smiled..

" A dozen coming up", he whispered back. She blushed.

" Lets meet the head priest and Ashram's secretary.

Raj found both of them in office. As he and Kenny entered both the head priest and secretary welcomed him

" I am pleased to see you", said the head priest. " Mohan get Rukmani Dai", he said to the secretary.

Raj touched his feet and so did Kenny.

The head priest looked at Raj. He smiled at the older man. The old man blessed him.

" May you live long and may Shiva bless your union".

Kenny smiled blushing happily.

" Take your mother's blessings", said the priest.

Raj nodded. Kenny saw a life size photograph of Jeniffer in the office. Raj was emotional. He touched his mother's feet.

" Maa meet your daughter in law. Queen of Vidhangarh Kanupriya Shekhawat. Isn't she regal and beautiful ".

Tears sprang in his eyes as Kenny touched Jeniffer's feet too.

" Help me get rid of the curse maa", she prayed.

" I heard the kids shouting and I knew you were here", came a voice.

" Dai maa", Raj's face lit up.

Kenny knew about the midwife who delivered him. She touched Rukmini's feet.

" You live a long life with him and keep my son happy", she said emotionally.

She took Kenny with him introducing her to all the ladies. Kenny was overwhelmed with the welcome she received.

" I hope I can live up to your standards", she said to an old lady.

" You are really suited for him trust me", said the old lady. " I see Goddess Parvati in you".

" I am a mere human", replied Kenny.

At that moment there was a huge commotion in ashram.

" What is it", asked Kenny.

" Sage Agnisharma of Himalayas have come to visit the ashram", someone said.

Before Kenny could think Raj came bustling in.

" Punditji wants to meet both of us", said Raj to her.

She went with him slowly. Both of them have not recovered fully. Raj was limping too.

" Pranam punditji ", they both said in union.

" Rajeev, Kanupriya sit down", said Agni. He looked serious.

" What is this about", Kenny asked him mentally.

" I have no idea", he replied.

They looked at each other in confusion.

Agni declared to everyone present

" Prince Rajeev will marry queen Kanupriya today in about two hours. Start preparing everyone ".

The was a stunned silence. And then the head priest said,

" As you say guruji".

He touched Agni's feet and ordered

"Everyone prepare for a wedding" .

A hustle began. Kenny remained rooted to her spot.

" I see you both have questions again", smiled Agni.

" You told me to wait till Mahashivaratri ", said

Raj.

" Don't you think things are turning more challenging prince", Agni looked at his broken arm and face." Its better to face them together than alone".

" We have to call everyone ", said Kenny.

" No just the two of you. Also both of you will keep the marriage a secret until Mahashivaratri ", said Agni.

" Kiara will kill me", sighed Kenny as Raj chuckled.

" You will be married with aplomb in presence of friends and family queen but this union in front of Shiva is necessary. "

" What is so special about this place", asked Raj.

" This is the original idol of wish granting temple", said Agni. " When Srikant was cursed to suffer Gunjan remained buried deep inside earth with her Shiva. Riya found it the day Vikram slayed Uttam removing the curse on him and his wife. Shalini took the bite from snake sacrificing her life for Riya's and earned the spot of Manav's daughter and your best friend as she wished for", clarified Agni.

" MYRA", said Raj.

Agni nodded.

" A four century old story Rajeev of five men who committed sins. Against brothers, sisters, wife and others too. But not because they were bad people but because they were hurt and they never were prepared to take it with a smile".

Raj now had an inkling of the situation.

" Are we prepared today guruji", he asked.

" That is a question which you ask yourself prince", said Agni. " The answer to that question will manifest itself in front of you when the time is right".

" And this marriage marks the beginning of a war", asked Kenny in trepidation.

" No queen", said Agni. " It marks the beginning of rewriting a story. A beginning of correcting mistakes, a beginning of destroying hatred with love and darkness with light."

Kenny was quiet.

" So who will do the Kanyadan", asked Raj.

" Someone I have invited here with family" , smiled Agni.

After an hour Kenny was stunned to see the person who arrived.

" Manav", Raj asked Agni.

He nodded.

" Meh", said Myra coming in. " Him of all people", she made a face.

" Best day of my life", Raj teased her and left.

" Can I just kill him", Myra asked Agni.

" So you are finally cured", smiled Agni.

" Well guess you have to dress her again".

" Cured of what", mused Myra. She was confused.

" Meenakshi you are the wall that protects her. Do not disappoint. I know you won't", said Agni. " Now prepare her for wedding".

He looked at Kanu and said.

" It is for the best. You both will be married today".
