Stood up

Zia's pov

The next few days were utilized in making wedding preparations. Who knew that wedding preparations could be this hectic? It was a one-day event with too many things and service providers to talk to all in one month. My stress was added by an overbearing, perfectionist soon-to-be mother-in-law. There were too many activities to be done within a set period but very few hands to do the work. I thought about getting help from a wedding planner but I didn’t want to burden Jason with that as wedding planners in this city were expensive even though I knew Jason could afford it.

The pressure got worse and Eventually, I had no option but to hire a wedding planner. If I had continued with the wedding planning preparations, I was either going to end up dead out of stress or things not going my way or risk becoming an old wrinkly lady. The wedding was set for the 23rd of March and the remaining days flew by so fast.
