Ch. 75: Space Ice Delight, Part 1

T/W: Foul Language

Walking through a gate, surrounded by military squadrons, was unnerving. A feeling of unease at the unnatural setting spread within Penn. He wasn't sure how they could even survive the feeling of going through the gate as unawakened. He felt like shit each time - it never got better.

Shaking off the gate shock, Penn stepped forward and looked at the environment before him. And like many times before in the army, he internally cursed Commander Hoffman who always felt the need to hold back information.

"What the hell is this?" Penn groaned, blinking his eyes from the blinding light bouncing off the icey and snow-filled landscape. He would have thought they entered a tundra had it not been for the view out outer space so close to them, and stars passing in a blur. Or, what would be more accurate to say, the giant rock they were on was moving through space. Was this possible inside a gate?
