The Power Or The Curse

Morgana ran outside and looked after the fire and the workers. The heat of the fire was so immense that nearby small plants also caught fire. Water after water, sand after sand, was poured over the tree and nearby plants, and after several minutes, the fire was finally extinguished. Left behind were the charred, smoking husks of the plants. Once a glorious tree, it was not a black piece of coal, but a very large coal.

"She… she did that?" asked Lorelei.

"Yes, she just did that. Without even thinking. Are you afraid of her? I am now," said Etienne.

"Shut it! I am not afraid of her. Why would I be afraid of her? I can never be afraid of her," Lorelei kept mumbling.

"Hah! I can see that… you are not AT ALL AFRAID of her," teased Kynthia.

"And we were worried about what would happen to her when she ran away. She does not need to learn how to fight. She can kill an army in one move. We cannot do that," said Etienne.
