“I, Edwina Streak-Ridge of formerly of Silverstreak Pack…” spoke Edwina.
Aaron knew what was coming. “No, no, stop! You cannot.”
But Edwina ignored him. “…adopted daughter of Everridge Hounds, reject you, Aaron Silvermaw, the Lycan Prince as my mate,” shouted Edwina, tears streaming down her face.
A bright light escaped Edwina’s chest and she fell to her knees clenching her chest to ease the pain. Aaron stood before her completely frozen, perplexed. He couldn’t believe what Edwina just said. She was his true love. How could she reject him and why?
“Why? Why? Tell me what my fault is?” begged Aaron.
Edwina wiped her tears, stood up and simply walked away from him.

Everyone kept staring at Edwina and Inder. After Inder's comment about Edwina being special, everyone just looked at them, silent. They all had their guns pointed at Inder, but Edwina's body was still protecting him. Edwina was still captive. She kept absorbing every piece of information Inder revealed, and her mind kept racing with all the things Inder revealed.

The guards were trying to move forward step by step but made sure that Inder was busy talking with Edwina and wouldn't notice their advancement. Their weapons didn't move even an inch, they had them fixed on Inder but didn't have a clear line of attack.

Opaline and others were sweating from every pore, thinking someone was going to hurt Edwina. They didn't want to stop Edwina from asking questions about her, and Inder was extremely happy to reply.
