Taya knocked on the door and waited for two minutes when no one answered. Then, she knocked again. This time, the door opened on its own. Taia entered, amazed at the size of Mil's room; it was twice the size of their suite, filled with books and laboratory equipment.

"I didn't expect to see you here, Taia," Mil spoke after drying his hands with a towel placed on the table. From the color of the container's contents and the poisonous herbs, only one thought screamed in Taia's mind.

"Don't tell me you've become one of King Arthur's pawns. He'll treat you like nothing more than a piece in his game. He won't keep any promises he's made to you," Taia shouted, running her hands through her hair. In her previous life, two years after the plague spread, the Jasmine Kingdom manufactured the cure, and within another year, they had developed the first and most powerful poisonous bombs that devastated many kingdoms that tried to cross them.
