For the sake of simplicity, the nearby Void of Space could be segmented into regions that were hundreds of millions of miles vast- with three powers embroiled in these regions fighting for hegemony and resources!

Resources.

They could either be obtained from other Rulers, or Realms that were constantly born within these Sectors.

A newly emerging Realm, untouched by others, could hold enough Resources to raise multiple Void Rulers. There were even unique Realms that had Unique Gem Socket Blueprints, Covenant Gems, Ability Gems, and Support Ability Gems!
