Mark's brow furrowed. "Go all in?"

I knew why Mark didn't throw Nate out of his house a few minutes ago. He couldn't.

He would have thrown out anyone else who had behaved like he did since he came here, but not Nate.

He had explained the importance of keeping Nate on our side, his father was very powerful amongst the investors and was just waiting for the right time. And while he didn't believe Landcaster Senior would be able to convince all the investors against Mark nor to put Nate in charge, he was powerful enough to plant the doubt that would make a good percentage not vote for Mark.

So, I knew we had to act. I held his gaze, feeling something settle inside me. "Yes."
