Chapter 65: The Returning Brunhilde Fleet

As the voice faded, another barrage struck, sinking several mass-produced Siren warships.

"Do you really think I'm an easy target to squash? Even though this world doesn't have persimmons..."

The Purifier watched as her fleet was battered by the artillery.

Despite not caring about the losses of her mass-produced units and humanoid Sirens, being directly targeted was still a bit embarrassing for her.

"But today, I can have some real fun!"

"Forget the experiments! Let's go have a good time!"

The slender girl laughed loudly and leaped from the sea, her hammerhead shark-themed armor rising into the air with her, heading towards the direction of the incoming fire.

In the sky, her flagship's main guns aimed forward, and several main guns fired simultaneously, unleashing a barrage of earth-shattering laser shells.

Under the Purifier's command, the entire Siren fleet changed course, abandoning their original destination to follow her towards the incoming enemy.

"Congratulations, you've managed to attract the Purifier's attention."

Not far away, on the stormy sea, a distant Iron Blood fleet had already formed a battle line to face the threat.

Several Iron Blood shipgirls had summoned their gear and stood on the sea in front of the mass-produced fleet.

The speaker was a composed shipgirl with a massive black and red dragon-themed armor, black-and-white short hair, a devilish figure, and a black-red cloak, reminiscent of a figure from the Devil's Class.

She stood firmly amidst the towering waves and storm, radiating a Valkyrie-like presence that invigorated those around her.

Iron Blood's battlecruiser, Brunhilde, was in full form.

(Brunhilde)

Her colossal dragon armor roared at the sky, firing powerful main cannon shots that clashed with the Purifier's incoming laser fire, causing violent explosions on the darkened ocean.

"Heh, Brunhilde, it's just the Purifier. Are we really afraid of her?"

"Anyone who dares to block my meeting with the Commander will have their head kicked like Hipper suggested!"

The haughty voice of the girl from earlier rang out again.

A slender girl with pink long hair surrounded by black and red steel dragon armor stood beside Brunhilde.

Her youthful face displayed a haughty grin, and she wore a disheveled black dress with a white tank top. Her long legs, covered in wet white stockings, and her oversized, sharp black scissors matched her distinctive appearance.

Notably, she had a pair of huge, dragon-like horns on her forehead.

She was the fifth-phase research ship—the Iron Blood battlecruiser, Prinz Rupprecht.

(Prinz Rupprecht)

Next to Prinz Rupprecht, on the sea, stood a girl carrier ship girl with a mischievous smile. Her silver hair fluttered in the wind, topped with a black Iron Blood military hat.

She wore a black-and-white military uniform resembling a dress, and despite her young appearance, she was clad in sexy black thigh-high stockings and heels.

Her unique, rainbow-colored eyes drew everyone's attention.

Her black-red dragon armor collected the returning aircraft and released two more squadrons into the storm.

"Rupprecht, let me tell you, kicking the Purifier's head is quite satisfying. Heh heh, I can teach you how to kick even farther~"

The silver-haired, rainbow-eyed girl said with a playful tone, as if she had ample experience.

She was the Iron Blood's Adalbert-class light carrier, Elbe.

(Elbe)

Although historically she never completed the conversion from a passenger ship to a carrier, in the game, after joining the port area, Elbe had become a genuine light carrier.

"I can't wait to mess with the Commander now that he's back. Hee hee."

Elbe giggled mischievously, clearly in high spirits.

Seeing that her two troublesome companions hadn't won yet and were already planning how to torment the unfortunate Purifier, Brunhilde rubbed her temples.

As the flagship of the Iron Blood fleet dispatched to the Eagle Union base, her calm and nostalgic demeanor had been tested by these two troublemakers throughout the journey.

"Brunhilde, the wolves have already been dispatched. It's our turn now!"

A black-haired girl with red eyes, wearing sports shoes, eagerly expressed her desire to go.

She adjusted her red claw gloves, looking at Brunhilde with anticipation.

(Magdeburg)

Another girl with a black-red parasol and white long hair, having red and blue heterochromatic eyes, spoke softly with a timid tone:

(Elbing)

"Maybe... maybe I won't go. My attacks wouldn't reach the enemy anyway; I'd just be a liability..."

"Ah, no! Little Elbing can stay back and do nothing while saving energy to flirt with the Commander later~"

A lazy voice that seemed out of place with the Iron Blood camp sounded.

A gray-haired girl, lounging on her huge steel dragon armor and wearing a black hat, stretched lazily as if just waking up.

She held a cute black-red Iron Blood shark-themed pillow and waved at the girl with heterochromatic eyes.

(Lutzow)

"Magdeburg, Elbe, you can deploy now."

Brunhilde, her expression turning dark, looked at her group of distinctly different companions and wondered if this was truly the Iron Blood fleet renowned for its discipline.

Ignoring the lazy gray-haired girl, she issued orders to the two light cruiser shipgirls.

"Hahaha! I've been waiting for you to say that! Elbe, stop dawdling, let's go!"

Receiving Brunhilde's command, the sporty black-haired girl with red eyes showed an excited smile and quickly dragged the still-downtrodden Elbe away.

"Eh? Wait, let me pray for victory..."

Elbing's anxious voice and Magdeburg's laughter grew fainter, disappearing into the storm.

Watching the two light cruisers disappear from sight, Brunhilde controlled her armor, aiming at the Purifier, and said helplessly:

"Lutzow, you too. At least there are Sakura Empire allies here. Try to be a bit more restrained... You're ruining Iron Blood's honor."

The gray-haired, lazy girl stretched and, with a drowsy smile, replied:

"Oh, come on. We're all comrades in the port area, no need to worry."

While speaking, Lutzow glanced at the tiny shipgirl from the Sakura Empire who was staying with the Iron Blood mass-produced fleet.

"At worst... I'll just make sure this little kitten stays quiet forever~"

Under Lutzow's menacing gaze, the tiny Sakura girl with green hair, braided into a tail dragging in the sea, tensed up, her green cat ears and stray hair standing on end like a frightened kitten.

Her armor was a wrench as large as herself, with no gun ports, indicating she was not a combat-type shipgirl.

(Akashi)

"Meow?! I didn't see anything! Please rest assured, Iron Blood comrades!"

She waved her hands in panic, her tone filled with fear.

"Hmph, so you've been deceiving the Commander with fake goods and supplies. I warn you, don't try to fool him again."

Prinz Rupprecht lifted her slender arm to brush off her rain-soaked pink hair.

As she threatened the Sakura girl, her main guns fired again, creating a powerful explosion.

"Absolutely not! I miss the Commander so much!"

The Sakura girl with green hair and cat ears trembled in fear as the nearby dragon armor fired, crouching and covering her head.

She, like the other shipgirls, wore a sparkling diamond ring on her right hand's ring finger.

The Purifier floated in midair, dodging the incoming main gun fire while laughing and counter attacking with her armor's massive cannons.

"Hahaha! It's been so long since I've had this much fun! As expected, only you can spark my interest, hahaha!"

The mass-produced Siren warships behind the Purifier reached attack range, opening fire with their main guns and launching torpedoes into the sea.

The Leading Seafarer-type Siren, with silver short hair and a frown, sat in an armor resembling a giant nautilus shell.

Once in range, these injured Leading Seafarers fired their nautilus shell cannons, causing a massive commotion on the sea.

However, several torpedo salvos, dragging white tails, had already arrived in front of them without them noticing!

"Boom boom boom boom boom!"

The torpedoes exploded on target, obliterating the remaining Leading Seafarers in the Siren fleet with violent blasts.

"Gotcha, little hide-and-seek players! Come out!"

Seeing her fleet being ambushed, the Purifier stopped midair, and her armor fired several laser blasts at the empty sea.

"Wow! I told you U101 was going too far ahead!"

"Who knew the Purifier would actually notice us now? She never did before!"

As the childish voices emerged from beneath the sea, three submarine shipgirls in Iron Blood shark armor surfaced, frantically dodging lasers.

"Hey hey hey hey hey! What do you mean I actually got smarter?"

Hearing the little ones, the Purifier's previously smug expression froze.

Furiously shouting, she fired additional lasers, driving the three cute submarine shipgirls into a panicked retreat.

"Wow! My fishy tail is on fire!"

A dark red-haired loli in a black bikini screamed as her armor's tail caught fire.

(U1206)

"U1206, you big dummy! Dive! Dive!"

The blue-eyed loli with dark blue twin tails shouted, speeding up her shark armor as if racing on the sea and urging U1206 to dive.

(U101)

"Even though I don't want to say it, my armor's tail is on fire too!"

Another loli with blue short twin tails and pink eyes, riding a pink Iron Blood shark armor, anxiously shouted, adding:

(U556)

"Diving will slow us down, and the lasers will catch up!"

"What should we do? U556, think of a way! I don't want to be sunk before seeing the Commander's sunrise!"

U1206 panicked, her shark armor's tail flames spreading toward her waist.

The Purifier, laughing in midair, watched the Iron Blood submarines scatter before her lasers, her face again showing a smug expression.

But when she heard U1206's words, her smugness abruptly halted, as if struck by thunder.

"Little one, what did you just say?"

As the Purifier spoke, her hammerhead shark armor swiftly moved towards U1206, seemingly aiming to capture and interrogate the red-haired loli.

"Ahhh! I didn't say anything! I didn't say anything!!"

U1206, her eyes nearly in tears from fear, struggled to dive and escape as the Purifier approached directly from the sky.

But her speed was significantly slower than the Purifier's.

"U1206!" "U1206, run!"

U101 and U556 shouted anxiously, but it was already too late to launch torpedoes to save U1206!
