Chapter 126: The Tired Returning Extreme and the Mechs

After hearing the news, Lin Lan smiled faintly.

Once all the Ironblood fleets arrive, he, Lin Lan, would probably be able to walk sideways across the entire Western Continent.

A mere Battleaxe Military Industry? How many divisions do they have that can stand up to him?

Upon arriving at the dock, Lin Lan disembarked and returned to his yacht, surrounded by his Ironblood ship girls.

They set sail upstream.

As the yacht began its journey, Lin Lan settled back on the sofa. Both his arms were clutched tightly by Eugen and Blücher, who refused to let go.

On the sofa opposite, the three Z-drive little chibis and the elegant, tall, black-haired beauty, Peter, gazed at him, unwilling to look away.

Only Akashi, the little profiteer, stood on the outer deck, enjoying the view and watching the passing cargo ships.

"Commander, eh, hey~"

Blücher, who had been clinging to his arm since they got off the car, wore a blissful smile. Her long, creamy-yellow hair shimmered as she beamed like a sweet and innocent girl in love.

Prince Eugen, meanwhile, acted no differently. Like that day in the Iron Fortress, she clung to his other arm with a faint smile on her face.

The silver-haired girl with red highlights gazed at him, her brown eyes brimming with affection.

A sense of absurdity suddenly overwhelmed Lin Lan.

How could he, back then, have thought his ship girls were fake?

Clearly, they had always been full of love for him, constantly searching for him, and now they stood beside him, very real.

Just as Lin Lan was about to express something sentimental, Eugen leaned closer and whispered provocatively in his ear:

"Commander, I heard from my fourth sister that you had quite a bit of fun at that seaside villa."

Eugen's words caused Lin Lan to freeze instantly.

"Huh? Hahaha, is that so? Why don't I remember anything?"

Lin Lan tried to laugh it off, but Eugen clearly wasn't going to let him escape so easily.

"Don't remember? Hmm, maybe we need to help jog your memory~"

Eugen, with a possessive smile, licked her lips seductively, her eyes filled with playful mischief.

"Why didn't I know your stamina was so good? You even managed to fool my sister."

Seeing that Eugen seemed ready to make her move right there, Lin Lan hastily struggled to get up, pleading:

"No, Eugen, we're still outside. Let's talk about this back at the port area..."

But Peter interrupted him with a smile.

"Commander, I've already spoken to Zeppelin. We have plenty of time before we return to the port area."

Hearing this from a time-management master, Lin Lan panicked even more.

"But... but there are children here..."

He glanced toward Z1 and the others, only to find Z1 and Z2, the two silver-haired Z-drive little chibis, approaching him with flushed faces.

"Commander, you know we're not really children."

Z1 puffed out her cheeks, snorting twice like a big sister seeking justice for her sibling.

"We all know exactly what you did to our little sister, Leonie. That excuse won't work anymore."

Z2, with her burgundy eyes, stared at him intently. Despite her usual indifferent expression and monotone voice, a faint blush crept onto her pink cheeks.

"Huh? Huh? What's happening? If you're going to pounce on the commander, count me in!"

Initially confused, Z16 quickly joined her sisters, forming a queue.

Faced with such an overwhelming situation, Lin Lan was completely dumbfounded. He could only pin his hopes on Akashi.

But when he turned to the deck, he saw the little profiteer smirking at him from outside, giving him a thumbs-up through the cabin door before shutting it.

This traitor had abandoned him at the first sign of trouble!

"I... Can I just say I'm not in good shape today?"

Surrounded by the Ironblood ship girls pressing in on him, Lin Lan made one last futile attempt to resist.

"Uh-huh~ Commander, we'll check that ourselves~" Eugen smiled slyly.

"Ah, fine... let's just get this over with..."

Lin Lan's face was filled with resignation. At this point, resistance was futile.

"Roar~ Commander! Finally, you'll experience the power of my love!"

Under Blücher's cheerful command, the self-driving yacht continued its journey toward the port area.

Meanwhile, Shinonome City stood as the closest city on the Western Continent to the Eastern Continent's Orlan United States.

Although it was nominally under Battleaxe Military Industry's jurisdiction, its proximity to the Eastern Continent made it a battleground for control, with the Tianou Group reluctant to relinquish its hold.

When one thinks of Shinonome City, the first thing that comes to mind is the mech exhibition hall in the city's southern district.

If ship girls was the lifeblood of Orlan, mechas were undoubtedly its backbone.

Unlike Earth, Orlan had never developed tanks. Instead, mechs became the mainstay of its army's armored forces.

During the war between Orlan and the Natlan Empire, Orlan's unyielding mech armies prevented its complete defeat.

The martial Natlan Empire, whose people possessed superhuman physical abilities, nearly overwhelmed Orlan's forces.

Only the introduction of heavy war mechs can turned the tide.

Those mechs were immense and powerful, capable of matching Natlan's "Extremes" individuals who had honed their bodies to superhuman levels.

Despite their success, the enormous resources required to create Mechs forced Orlan to abandon their production after the war, leaving only a few battered relics on display.

One such relic disappeared from Shinonome City's exhibition hall a few days ago. The news, quietly posted on a corner of the Orlan website, was swiftly deleted, leaving no trace.

In the underground mecha lab of Battleaxe Military Industry in Shinonome City, a broken Mechs stood half-kneeling, surrounded by repair equipment.

Tian Ming, the lab's lead engineer, questioned Zhu Mobo, Battleaxe's general agent in Shinonome City.

"Boss, is it really necessary to repair this mecha here?" Tian Ming asked hesitantly.

Zhu Mobo, hands behind his back, responded coldly: "Just do your best to finish it."

"But... I..."

"Enough! After that fiasco with the three mechs, you're in no position to argue!"

Tian Ming lowered his head, biting back further protest.

As Zhu Mobo left for his office, he muttered to himself:

"Damn, I'm running out of time..."

From a hidden drawer, he retrieved a metal suitcase. Inside was a black-and-red cube, pulsating with terrifying energy.
