Let's Keep Him

It was early in the morning when Dimitri woke up. The Sun hadn't fully come out yet. Though he had something to eat last night, he felt hungry. It was the kind of hunger that wouldn't go away so easily. Without making any sounds, he carefully stepped out of the room and walked down the hall. He didn't know where anything was. He could see a garden out the window, and there were a few trees there. Maybe he could have some fruit, he thought.

Around the same time the Marquess woke up. He had a good night's sleep after a very long time. He was able to get closer to his children and attempted to make up for the time lost, it felt like a burden was off his shoulders. He went to the garden, he actually wanted to sit on the swing and watch the sunrise just like he did when his wife was still alive.

He didn't know there would be an unknown boy there.

'Was he a servant's child?' He thought.
