Ch: 10 Angry Hiruzen

Faced with Shiroha's blatant blackmail, Hiruzen, though inwardly unwilling, reluctantly agreed. He knew Shiroha was exploiting the situation, and his son was still in the Uchiha's hands. He had no choice but to pay. He would appease the Uchiha for now, save his son, and find a way to deal with them later.

"Fine, one hundred million it is," Hiruzen growled, forcing down his anger. "Get Shinnosuke."

"Whoa, Hokage-sama, no need to rush," Shiroha chuckled, a smirk playing on his lips. "Ookami, go with him and get the cash, we wouldn't want to keep our esteemed Hokage waiting, would we?"

He knew Hiruzen was a cunning old fox, capable of turning on a dime. He wouldn't trust him to keep his word.

"Hai! Shiroha-sama," Ookami replied, sheathing his sword and approaching Hiruzen. "Hokage-sama, please lead the way."

Hiruzen just grunted in response, not bothering to be polite. He motioned to an ANBU, "Take him to the Sarutobi clan."

Shiroha and Hiruzen exchanged a calm, steady gaze, but the growing negative energy around Hiruzen revealed his true feelings. He was seething with anger.

After a short while, Ookami returned, a storage scroll clutched in his hand. "Shiroha-sama, the 100 million is here!" he declared excitedly, handing the scroll to Shiroha. He'd never seen so much money before, especially money extorted from the Hokage. Shiroha-sama was truly awesome.

"Very good! Go and bring Sarutobi Shinnosuke here," Shiroha commanded, taking the scroll.

"Hai! Shiroha-sama," Ookami replied, rushing off to the interrogation room.

Moments later, Sarutobi Shinnosuke was brought before them. He was in a sorry state, bruised and battered from the beating. Upon seeing Hiruzen, he screamed, "Dad! Save me! Kill him! He had no right to arrest me, I'm gonna get him back for this!"

Before he could finish, Shiroha slapped him hard, sending him sprawling to the ground. "You traitorous little punk, think you're so tough?" he snarled, his voice dripping with venom. "You want to die?"

He grabbed his tantō, pressing the blade against Shinnosuke's throat. "Hokage-sama, this traitor tried to set me up," he declared, his eyes boring into Hiruzen. "Want me to help you take care of him? Even the Anbu could get some answers out of him, even if it meant cutting off his head."

Hiruzen, seeing the blade at his son's throat, panicked. "No, no, don't do it! Just hand him over to the Anbu, they'll handle it," he reasoned, his voice shaking. He was scared Shiroha might actually go through with it.

"So, Hokage-sama, you sure you don't need a little help?" Shiroha asked, a playful smirk on his face. "My blade's pretty sharp, I can make sure his head stays on."

Hiruzen knew he was being mocked, but to save his son, he had to swallow his pride. "No, there's no need for that," he replied, his voice tight.

"What a shame," Shiroha remarked, withdrawing the blade and kicking Shinnosuke hard. The young man flew backwards with a scream. The ANBU moved quickly, catching him before he hit the ground.

"Let's go," Hiruzen ordered, his voice clipped. He had rescued his son, and he didn't want to stay a moment longer. He was afraid that if he lingered, Shiroha might do something rash.

"Hokage-sama, take good care of your son in the future," Shiroha called after them, his voice laced with menace. "If I see him again, I can't guarantee he'll leave the guard team in one piece next time."

Hiruzen, seething with anger, stormed off without looking back.

The Uchihas erupted in cheers as they watched the Hokage and his ANBU retreat, their faces flushed with humiliation.

"Wow, amazing!"

"Shiroha-sama is incredible! He actually made the Hokage back down!"

"Yes! This is the first time I've seen the Hokage and the ANBU leave like that!"

"Only Shiroha-sama can lead our clan to greatness!"

The Uchiha ninjas boasted proudly. They remembered how their previous leader, Uchiha Yuma, had always been pushed around by the Hokage. Now, Shiroha had actually blackmailed him! It was a huge change.

"Whoa, is that really the Third Hokage? The Professor? He just gave up like that?" Ookami exclaimed in disbelief.

"The Professor? Hah! Now he's just a regular ninja," Shiroha scoffed with disdain.

Hiruzen, despite his position as Hokage, had become more focused on politics than his own strength. He had gone from a hero to a coward.

"Haha, that's a good one!" Ookami laughed, agreeing with him.

"Alright, let's split this loot!" Shiroha announced. "We're the Uchiha, the richest clan in Konoha, we gotta act like it!" He opened the storage scroll, revealing a mountain of ryo. The Uchiha clan, despite their wealth, had been living below their means.

"Hai! Thank you, Shiroha-sama!"

"Shiroha-sama is so kind!"

The Uchiha ninjas, their eyes gleaming with excitement, eagerly anticipated their share of the spoils.

The Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, rushed to the Konoha Hospital immediately after rescuing his son.

"Doctor, how is he?" he asked anxiously.

"Hokage-sama, don't worry!" the doctor reassured him. "Shinnosuke only suffered superficial injuries, no damage to muscles or bones. It won't affect his ninja career."

Hiruzen let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. "Thank goodness."

"However," the doctor continued, "Shinnosuke's injuries are serious. It seems he was beaten quite badly for a long time, and his spirit is a bit broken. He needs some time to recover."

Hiruzen mentally cursed Shiroha. 'Damn you, Uchiha Shiroha! That evil Uchiha bastard!' If it weren't for him, his son wouldn't be in this state.

"Come here!" Hiruzen called out, and an ANBU appeared before him. "I'm giving you twenty-four hours to keep a close eye on the Uchiha clan. Especially Uchiha Shiroha. I want to know everything you can about him!"

Hiruzen had decided that Shiroha was a major threat. He wanted to gather information and find a way to eliminate him.
