Author Note

For some time now I have wanted to make my dreams into a story. In my mind are countless ideas that I want to show to others but I don't know how to do that so while writing this story, I'm also learning and asking for your help in how I can better write a proper story.

I wont change any of my ideas. I will only change the errors in my writing. Point it out so I can understand on where did I go wrong, I lost a frie-... cough, anyway, tell me whenever you spot it. There would probably be quite a lot considering I'm literally a beginner at it.

This is my first ever work on making a story. For years I've read hundreds, if not thousands of novels and fanfictions, I also watched anime, movies, tv series, and read manga before switching to novels.

I started my journey by watching anime and when I got bored and tired of waiting for the next episode I switched to manga and then finally turned to light-novels then novels and fanfictions.

I've read the forbidden MTL cn works and it was horrid. My brain almost malfunctioned when I first started reading it and now, my brain automatically corrects everything I read. So here I am after asking the seniors in our group on how I could bring my dream to life. Ill describe how my dream went later on.

Dunno if it's just me (I'm sure it's not just me, aint no way I'm special) but sometimes I dream of something and then a few days, weeks, months or even years later it would continue again exactly just like how it did in the first dream.

A few years ago, I dreamed of a world where it gets submerged by the ocean when giant sea creatures go back to sleep or hibernate in the depths of the deep dark ocean. And when they do rise to the surface, the sea recedes and shows the submerged and forgotten lands. The protagonist (me) in that dream kept climbing a mountain to reach the peak so he does not drown or get eaten/killed by the human sized sea creatures.

The giant sea creatures are somewhere between 50-100 meters in size, so they can reach their claws to the rooftops of buildings or mountains depending on where you try to hide. At that time in the dream, I was a teenager but now a few years have passed, I dreamt of it once again but this time the body is a college student which is the same as I am right now but with a much better physique.(something like a swimmers build)

I actually didn't get to finish that first dream, and I woke up after finding a rectangular mall that is a futuristic style building that you'd see in a hunter/gate worlds. So now years later I'm sleeping on my bed lazying around and dreamed it again after all these years. I found myself on the same mountain I was climbing to hid from the giant creature as a 22-year-old college student.

After retracing my steps in the first dream, I once again found the mall I saw. This time I can see other people that were just vague shadows in the past, this time they changed to the people I encountered throughout my life. I quickly run to the mall before the sea starts to submerge the world again because I found out that the giants return to the sea, and we only have more or less 7 hours of surface time.

(I don't actually know how much time passes before the sea recedes or when it submerges the world again. So, I just made an estimate since in the dream I thought it was quite fast)

In the middle of the mall there were crowds of people lining up to go to the 2nd floor because in that floor was a sealed facility with glass walls all around it and the mall staff was arranging for everyone they can inside before the sea returns. I managed to make it inside and while waiting for the facility to seal, I found an acquaintance in the line, and I notice that she doesn't have enough time to enter inside.

She despairs at the long line in front of her and slowly backs away and just walk back to the ground floor and there she is with countless others that could not make it in time to enter. She and the others just sit there at the stairs waiting for the water to reach them.

I hesitate for a few seconds but then decided to do what others would think was retarded. I stand there at the railings and backed up a few steps away and then sprinted to the edge and jumped while catching the tarp mid-jump to use it as a rope to go down since the 2nd floor has been sealed.

So, there I was, after landing firmly, I stand up and slowly walk to her and sit beside her. (You don't know this but the reason I did that in the dream was because she is my inspiration in my college life right now, you can say that she is my crush) She didn't notice someone beside her for a few minutes until the water level reached their feet.

She slowly looks to me and was dazed for a few seconds. (God! She was so cute at that moment. I actually am in the process of courting her in real life) by the looks of it we actually know each other and classmates as well in this dream world. She never in her life would think that I would be there with her at that moment in time.

We were close friends in that world and I was thinking in my mind if I confessed to her in this world yet (I confessed in real life too, a year ago). She asked me why I'm there and I told her that I saw her from the 2nd floor. She was shocked because she realized what that meant. It meant that I could have survived, so she didn't understand why I would choose to go back down.

I put my left arm across her shoulders and pulled her a little close to me while my right hand held her hands together. I said to her while watching the waters slowly reach our sits "Did you know? Ive come to like you since a year ago. When I was up there, I was thinking in my mind about how you inspired me at school and to keep living and not give up. When I saw your face, I realized that you accepted your fate. I didn't like what I saw so here I am now. I want to spend this precious time to be with the person who changed and inspired me to live. Ill sit here together with you if you've truly accepted this fate).

And that is it. maybe ill upload the true chapter once i understand how to make a proper story, a proper dialouge, a proper character, a proper background, a proper world build and so many others. i still have many things to learn and I hope that you fellow readers would help me in this if you have the time.

something I haven't stated yet is that I'm actually not an ordinary college student, well everyone in our course actually isn't. I am a criminology student, and our course isn't like any other. we are taught multiple subjects like combat arts, guns, law, medicine, chemistry, history and technology etc. etc. etc....., we are even taught about the different countries' laws. anything you can think of, we are taught the basic levels of every major subject. (maybe not everything but you get the point)

I completed my ROTC which stands for Reserve Officers' Training Corps and our schools training was for the Air Force. so, you can say that I'm a reserve officer for the air force in our country. they can conscript us graduates anytime in the time of war. (I'm not bragging, seriously. I'm really not. I can't even brag because I'm just one of the many students who managed to not get dropped and survive it.)
