“Mommy, Let’s go.”
Alice heard Eliana’s words and the next thing she knew, Zayden’s car had vanished around the corner of the street. She coughed in embarrassment.
On the way back home, Eliana held Alice’s hand and said with a sly grin, “Mommy, did you just have a crush on him?’
“Who? What?” Alice denied firmly, “What crush?”
“Then why did you stand there and kept staring at Uncle Collins? I was embarrassed by you.”
“Eliana!” She was speechless, with a feverish blush on her cheeks.
When they got out of the elevator, she suddenly remembered what Eliana did, so she pulled her collar and looked at her coldly, “I haven’t asked you yet. How could you casually invite other people to our home? Have you asked for my permission?”
Eliana struggled and said with no regret, “Mommy, let me go. One good turn deserves another. That’s what my teacher taught us.”
