“Yes, all you think Alice is Martin’s daughter. You believe she is a wealthy lady, the rightful heir of the Brown Group. Despite this, Alice has not been treated fairly in her family for many years.”
Flora stated firmly and with an imposing aura that silenced the journalists, “The truth is that the reason why Martin went to found the Brown Group is that he relied on his ex-wife’s money. Then he abandoned her after achieving success and married his mistress. Alice’s mother died while she was in labor and you can all imagine how Alice’s stepmother treated her. She doesn’t even have a share in the Brown Group.”
Flora spoke solemnly, telling everyone about Alice’s hardship. Alice had spent her entire childhood in her grandfather’s home. However, Flora made the difficult decision to let Alice live with Martin after her grandfather died.
She did this to keep Alice from being a naive young lady, as she was well aware that Alice would only become tough under challenging circumstances.
