The little girl led Alice through the woods to an isolated cave. Alice followed the girl to the narrow cave and found that it was well-furnished.
The furniture there was all exquisite woodwork, with a bed, a table, a chair, and a mirror. Alice noticed some wooden ducklings in the bathtub and assumed they were the ones Mike had craved that day.
Mike loved his daughter, but Alice couldn’t understand why the girl seemed to despise her father so much.
“My name is Janet. What’s yours?” said the little girl. She didn’t seem to be scared of Alice.
Alice was relieved that she still had a few more days, and she smiled and said, “I’m Alice. Thank you for saving me.”
“You are very welcome. But I can only save you for the timing. After a while, he will still kill you. He is just one of Dragon’s obedient dogs, and he will do whatever Dragon wants!”
“he is your father, Isn’t he?” Alice froze.
