Doom Defier

"The world is unjust." This expression ironically reflects the current state of our world. Some work tirelessly yet live in misery, while others enjoy a life of luxury with little effort. For some, happiness is a delicate luxury that the heavens do not grant. Such is the case for Maximus Fortis. Orphaned, beaten, harassed, and with no chance in life, he is as if 'cursed.' Nevertheless, he maintains an unshakable will despite the whims of fate. One day, an entity bringing evolution to the multiverse, named 'Prometheus Via,' triggers a phenomenon of change on Earth. Despite what seems like an apocalypse, it offers living beings the opportunity to attain the coveted divinity through a process of evolution. Maximus is determined to seize this opportunity to break free from the chains that bind him. [I am Maximus Fortis. I will acquire my freedom. My will is unshakable.
