-CHAPTER. 02-
When sitting alone in our favorite cafe like I'm doing now, it reminds me of his behavior when I was forced to finish my assignment until dawn, two years ago.
At that time, he was willing to wait for me who was still working on my assignment on campus until ten at night. Even though at that time he had just finished attending a seminar with students from the communication science faculty in the Depok area.
"Have you finished your assignment?" he asked which I answered with a cough because at that time I was too lazy to talk and wanted to quickly lie down hugging my favorite pillow.
"Really tired huh? Okay, later you just sleep on the motorbike." I widened my eyes in surprise at that time. "Oh, I'll probably fall!" He just laughed and put his leather jacket on me who at that time was only wearing a thin short-sleeved shirt.
"Deska, deska, you know you have a night class. Wear a long-sleeved shirt tomorrow, so you don't catch a cold later." I know what he said at that time was just an ordinary thing that people often said to me. But somehow that night I felt very touched hearing those words come out of his mouth. Making a small space inside feel warm because of his words and actions.
But annoyingly, my heart couldn't cooperate, because it kept pounding, making me afraid that he could hear it. Considering the parking area was so quiet and our distance was too close.
"Be careful getting on. I don't want you to get scratched and then miss your work and lecture tomorrow!" I rolled my eyes in annoyance and sneered softly at his words. "Yes, chatty!" Even so, I tried hard to hold back the slightest smile from appearing on my face.
That night I really wanted to slow down time, so that I could feel the comfort of leaning on his straight back for longer. Considering that I couldn't enjoy moments like this as often as possible because our lecture hours were different.

This afternoon I tried to stay focused on inputting the weekly report, even though I was annoyed because since earlier, Dara, my division colleague, kept talking about her best friend's engagement ring which looked so simple even though she was actually a very rich person.
"Dara, can you stop talking? We're working, okay? If you really have nothing to do, you can go to the pantry to have a nice cup of tea without disturbing us all."
Thankfully, finally Ms. Fanny, our senior in the finance division, has assigned me as a representative to reprimand Dara who keeps on chattering about completely worthless things.
After being reprimanded by Ms. Fanny, Dara immediately obediently sat down in her work chair while pretending to type her report. I tried to hold back my laughter seeing Dara's attitude that immediately changed after being reprimanded.
Yes, it's okay for us to reprimand Dara once in a while, even though she's new, but if she's already disturbing work hours, we can't just keep quiet. Rather than reprimanding the big boss directly, it's even worse.
"Oh yeah Deska, when is your boutique opening? I want to invite my cousin and sister-in-law to your boutique later." Ms. Fanny asked, approaching my desk, while carrying her work bag.
"The plan is at the end of this month, sis. Wow, that's great, sis, the more people come, the better it will be hehehe." I couldn't hide the feeling of joy that surged in my heart, talking about opening a boutique. One of my dreams since I was little and now it will soon be realized with my three best friends.
"Wow, you're still young, but you can already open your own boutique, Des. I salute you." Said Mr. Cahyo, the head of the finance division to me.
"This is my business with my three best friends, sir. Thank God it can be realized in the near future."
"Oh, come on guys! It probably won't last long anyway. In a capital city like Jakarta, boutiques are scattered everywhere."
I just smiled hearing the harsh words from Ms. Tina, who is indeed famous for being a gossip in our office.
"Okay, let's go home. If the boss sees us still at our desks, get ready to be asked to work overtime later hahaha."
We immediately walked towards the elevator together. It's also annoying to be asked to work overtime with this new boss who is known to be a workaholic. He might be asked to stay overnight in our office later.
Oh no!
