Giang Khe quickly said: "Oh, it's time for class. Goodbye, senior."
Mac Vien smiled and waved at her: "Goodbye."
He then watched Giang Khe run upstairs.
As soon as she was gone, another boy emerged from the corner.
"Nice, Mac Vien, you already made friends with her."
A guy approached, slinging his arm over Mac Vien's shoulders, laughing mischievously.
He was Mac Vien's childhood friend, the second young master of the Ha family, named Ha Bach Ngan.
"So, what's your next move?"
Mac Vien smirked, turned back towards his class, and said as he walked: "Of course, I'll lure the rabbit into the burrow and then catch her."
Ha Bach Ngan laughed loudly: "Ha ha, you're in such a hurry."
Mac Vien had seen Giang Khe during the school's new semester opening ceremony.
He could see her from a distance — a girl with fair skin like a freshly peeled boiled egg, long black hair down to her back, every strand of it fluttering in the wind.
Giang Khe wasn't extraordinarily beautiful, but her smile was what caught his attention at first sight.
She stood under the sunlight, smiling cheerfully while chatting with her new friends.
It was a bright, fitting smile for her, dazzling.
Hh… hh…
The young man sat up in bed, breathing heavily, his hair damp with sweat.
Ever since he met Giang Khe, he had been dreaming about her every night.
Every time he remembered her smile, he would wake up with a start.
Mac Vien looked down at what was standing between his legs and cursed: "Damn it."
Then he threw off the blanket and got out of bed; he had a habit of sleeping in only shorts, his upper body bare.
The young man with a well-toned body and healthy wheat-colored skin walked into the bathroom.
A moment later, the sound of running water was accompanied by a low, hoarse voice from inside: "Giang Khe… Giang Khe… ah…"

During break time, Giang Khe went to the canteen with her deskmate, Trinh Hop. to buy snacks.
Although they were the same age, Trinh Hop looked much more mature, perhaps because life had made her that way.
"Trinh Hop, what do you want to eat?"
Giang Khe turned her head and asked Trinh Hop.
She replied: "I plan to buy a milk and a sweet pastry."
"Okay, let's go then."
After choosing what they wanted, they paid and went to find a place to sit and eat.
Coincidentally, or perhaps not, Giang Khe encountered Mac Vien again, with Ha Bach Ngan beside him, walking toward them.
