Chapter 202: Deep Seated Grudges

Alicarde didn't waste time exchanging pleasantries with the three women over the comms. Instead, he offered a quick, playful greeting in the teasing manner unique to him.

"Hey... aren't you worried about being in the open? Won't people see your face?" Alicarde asked, darting across the rooftops with ease.

Argint, keeping pace effortlessly, responded through the earpiece.

"Nah, we each have artifacts to conceal us. To people and cameras, we'll look like nothing but blurs."

He nodded, landing a few meters away from the guardian, which was staggering in pain, still reeling from the damage to its eye.

A voice broke through his focus.

"We need to destroy all three heads or its heart. However, the heart is protected by that tortoise-like shell on its body. The heads are the better target."
