The eye opener

King Satorro's POV-

I stood shocked as I stared back at who was supposed to be my oldest son, but I couldn't recognize him. He's no longer the child I raised. He's a cruel cold cold-hearted man. I rushed over to him and pushed him hard making him stumble to the nightstand before falling to the floor.

"You have lost your damn mind!

I thought for sure that what happened three years ago was an accident. I trusted and believed in you. Unconditionally! Looking at you now I'm not so sure that's the truth!" I yelled infuriated. He sat there for a moment with a shocked expression before standing to his feet. He took a few steps closer and stood now not even a foot away. He laughed hysterically.

"What the hell are you laughing at?! Do I look like a joke to you?" I asked, holding my cane tightly trying not to smack him over the head with it. "Yes sir, you do," He said, continuing to laugh. I lifted my cane, but before I could hit him. Jason tackled him. They hit the floor with a thud. "Watch your mouth you fucking idiot!"

Jason screamed as he continuously punched Dakota in the face. I let him. He deserves at least that much. Dakota fought back but clearly, he's met his match. He couldn't get an upper hand over Jason. I quickly grabbed Jason's right fist in mid-air. "That's enough. Free her from whatever the hell that is" I said as I stared at the chains holding Sky to the bed.

"If you do, I'll kill you!" Dakota sneered. Holding Jason by the collar. "Dakota! Do you hear yourself? Do you have to be a controlling dumbass? That's why she doesn't trust or want to get close to you in the first place!" I yelled annoyed. He looked over at me with a dark gaze. "You're one to talk! Didn't your wife cheat on you?!"

"Shut the fuck up you prick!" Jason hissed before punching him in the face. "Jason move. Do what I said" I waited for him to get off of Dakota and before Dakota could get up I quickly hit him with my cane repeatedly. And like some miracle, the only thing I needed the damn cane for was beating his dumb ass.

Not once did I lose my balance. I just kept hitting him. Tears fell down my cheek as the words he said seemed to repeat in my head like some echo. Everything felt suffocating. The way that I lost my wife, The things that were revealed after her death, and now dealing with these three sons alone.

"How dare you!" I yelled and was going to bring it down once more, but he yanked it out of my hand and pushed me back. He stood to his feet and threw the cane across the room. I stared back at him stunned for a moment. "Go get it!" I yelled. "Why? You don't need it. You were standing just fine a minute ago" he said before leaving the room.

"Dad? You, okay? Do you want me to get it?" Jason asked. "No, he's right. I don't need that damn cane. I have sat back waiting and watching to see who I could leave this Kingdom to. All this while I thought I could leave it to him" I turned to face him and Sky. "You were right too. I have other sons I can leave it to. If you two are willing to accept it"

His eyes lit up. "Of course I will," I thought he and Lou were too young but he's a lot more mature than that damn oldest child. "Don't get too excited, we're going to give Lou a fair chance too. You two have until age 21 to show me you're capable. And I will choose on Lou's 21st birthday which of you will be the new king. Until then I will continue to run the kingdom alone"

I stared at Sky for a moment. I felt so bad. I was the one that paired her with the wrong son. "Are you okay?" I asked. She didn't look up; she was visibly shaking. She hugged her knees tight and close to her, her skin as pale as a ghost, and lips as chapped as an NBA player's. She nodded slowly. I noticed Jason's grip tighten on her as he was holding her in a protective hug.

"Sky... You can pick whoever you want. I won't force you to marry him or any of my sons. But I do hope that you stay here and live as a family with us. I will make sure he never hurts you again" I bowed to show her respect. And I don't know if I triggered her emotions but she just cried. Jason patted her back.

I hope he doesn't end up fighting with Lou next. That's going to be just my luck. To have all three of them fighting over one girl. "Jason, we need to get her to the higher levels. I don't want her here when Dakota comes back. For now, we will hide her if we have to. He's not allowed anywhere near her. Understood?" I asked. "Yes sir," he said before turning back to her. "Can you walk?" she didn't respond.

"Sky?" he called. She turned her face and turned to me. "Is Lou okay?" she asked hesitantly. "He will be. For now, let's focus on you and your health. After that you can see him" I started as I held out a hand to help her up. She took it and stood to her feet but nearly fell back down. "Jason, you carry her," I ordered.

He nodded and picked her up. "Where am I taking her?" I thought for a moment. I can't take her to the clinic. That's the first place Dakota will look. "Take her up to the 5th floor and get her settled in one of the master bedrooms. Make sure to put double security on that floor. I'll have a doctor and nurse come to her room.

Also, make sure to instruct the guards that Dakota is not allowed on or near that floor. I don't even want him on the 4th floor" I started as I held the door for him. I watched as he walked out and went to meet the doctor and check on Lou. I don't know what I will do with Dakota yet I just know that I will not allow him to hurt anyone else. Even if that means I have to disown and ban him from the castle.
