Chapter 31. Choosing a Sin

Medusa's voice dripped with sarcasm, her eyes glinting with malevolent intent as she leaned forward slightly, a predatory smile playing across her lips. "Now, do tell, in which way do you prefer me to trample on you?"

 

The room erupted into chaos, an electric tension crackling in the air as one of the parents—a man with an aura of superiority, the most influential among the gathered crowd—stepped forward, his face flushed with indignation. "This is absurd! How can you let this woman bully us? Aren't you the mighty Johnson? Why do you allow her to do this? Surely it would be more beneficial if we worked together. I possess power that could greatly benefit the Johnsons! If you permit me, I will offer it to you for free!"

 

Medusa's gaze snapped to Timothy, a sly smile spreading across her face as she reveled in the unfolding drama. "Oh, look at him," she remarked, her voice laced with mockery.
