Frailty

"Damn it!" Green gritted his teeth in anger, and with that, a large surge of energy erupted from him. Layers of earth and stone around him rose, forming a solid, sturdy stone wall that encased the monster that had wrapped around him.

It seemed as though this would be the perfect prison for the creature, but loud cracking sounds began to appear on the surface of the wall.

"Hurry up!"

Nearby, Dan was also constantly fending off other monsters, not allowing them a chance to get close.

With eyes filled with rage and madness, Green glared at the monster that had just devoured the unfortunate boy. But just a few seconds later, he regained control of himself. With determined steps, he quickly moved toward Dan.

It was truly a difficult decision. He had witnessed enough of the worst things in the world throughout more than half of his life, and that was not enough to make him lose his mind. Moreover, he had done everything within his power.
