As Adrien walked out of the audition room, still basking in his delusions of grandeur, Amara and Elara remained seated, the silence between them thick with unspoken amusement.
Elara finally exhaled and turned to Amara, lips twitching. "That was… painful."
Amara smirked, crossing her arms. "Painful for us. Hilarious for everyone else."
The casting director, who had been desperately holding back laughter, cleared his throat. "Miss Lyselle, I assume this is a no?"
"Oh no," Amara said, her smirk widening. "This is a yes."
The director blinked. "I'm sorry what?"
Elara facepalmed. "Oh no. She's really doing this."
Amara leaned back in her chair, utterly satisfied. "We'll release the cast announcement tomorrow. Adrien Laurent, our brilliant new leading man."
The director hesitated. "You… do realize that this will be a disaster?"
"Exactly," Amara said. "And we will be documenting every second of it."
