---
Thinking of the young man in his previous life who had suffered from severe depression and eventually jumped off a building, Yin Yin's heart ached deeply. These emotions stemmed from the original body's memories.
She hugged Su Mo back and said softly, "What are you thinking? Why would I ever divorce you? In fact, I want us to be more open."
Su Mo breathed a sigh of relief at the reassurance that they wouldn't be divorcing, but he was completely taken aback by the word "open."
"Sister Yin Yin, did you say 'open'?"
"Yes," Yin Yin confirmed, staring seriously at the handsome young man before her. "Once your comeback is successful, we'll make our relationship public. You've worked so hard these past few years. Since we're already married and have Dudu, it's only right that I give you the recognition you deserve."
Su Mo felt like fireworks were constantly going off in his mind, filling him with overwhelming joy. But his happiness left him a bit lost.
Seeing his bewildered yet adorable expression, Yin Yin wanted to laugh. With a mock-serious face, she teased, "What? You don't want to go public with me?"
"Of course not!" Su Mo quickly denied, realizing after a few seconds how anxious he sounded. He scratched his head, feeling slightly embarrassed, and forced himself to stay calm. "But won't it affect you if we go public?"
Yin Yin was, after all, a popular top-tier actress. If it got out that she was secretly married and had a child, it could potentially impact her career.
Yin Yin couldn't help but laugh at his concern. "I'm already 35 years old, okay? It's about time I got married. I trust my fans will understand. I don't rely on my looks to make a living, and the fans who support my career won't leave just because I get married. So you don't have to worry about that. But as for you..."
"What about me?"
Yin Yin gazed at the young man in front of her. His handsome face was as gentle as jade. She reached out and playfully pinched his cheek, responding, "You're only 25. Your skin is so smooth and tender. I'm a whole decade older than you! Your fans will definitely think I'm an old woman who's being greedy."
Su Mo's face flushed red as he was teased by Yin Yin. He let her pinch his face, responding earnestly, "I don't care about the age difference. As long as it's you, I'm happy. As for the fans, I won't let their opinions bother me. If I manage to make a successful comeback, my focus will be entirely on my acting."
And if anyone dared to call Sister Yin Yin an old cow eating young grass, he'd make sure to set them straight. He was willing to be "eaten," so what was the problem?
So, the two of them agreed to go public once Su Mo's comeback was a success. Yin Yin called his agent and informed him of Su Mo's plans, signing him under her name.
Agent Brother Shen, who was aware of Su Mo's situation, had often lamented why Su Mo had retired so young. If he hadn't left the industry then, and with proper guidance, Su Mo could have become a superstar.
So when Brother Shen heard that Su Mo wanted to make a comeback and that Yin Yin would be managing him, he eagerly agreed and was ready to rush over with the contract.
---
Later that evening, while the little guy was still asleep, Yin Yin and Su Mo headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner together. Naturally, it was Su Mo, the househusband, who did most of the cooking, while Yin Yin, who was inexperienced in the kitchen, helped out where she could. Even so, having his wife by his side brought a constant smile to Su Mo's face as he cooked.
Watching him, Yin Yin was reminded of a silly, contented deer.
"Mom, Dad, it smells so good!" Su Yuanjin, their little one, woke up and wandered out of his room, rubbing his sleepy eyes.
------
"Dudu, wake up. Go wash up and come back for dinner," Yin Yin gently urged as she placed a plate of food on the dining table.
"Okay," the little guy replied in his baby voice, yawning as he shuffled off to wash up. His slightly curled hair bounced lazily with each step.
When he returned, his eyes lit up at the sight of the rich and fragrant meal spread out before him.
Yin Yin lifted him onto his high chair and began serving food for the three of them.
"Dudu, don't eat too much. We still have cake later," Yin Yin reminded him.
"Okay," the little guy mumbled, his mouth already full of food.
It was rare for Yin Yin to eat with her son, so she couldn't resist picking out vegetables and pieces of meat to feed him now and then.
Soon, Su Yuanjin touched his now-round belly, sighed softly, and shook his head at the piece of meat his mother offered. "Mom, I'm full."
He had only himself to blame. He had promised himself he would eat less, but he couldn't bring himself to refuse his mother's offerings, so he kept eating. Now, he was overstuffed.
Yin Yin didn't realize the situation until she noticed his bulging belly.
She had agreed not to let him overeat, but she had kept feeding him.
"It's okay. We'll take a walk to help digest the food, and then we can have the cake."
"Yeah," Su Yuanjin agreed, though he felt a little regretful. He was eager to celebrate his birthday and was really curious about the gift his mother had prepared for him.
With the little guy full, Yin Yin handed the remaining meat to Su Mo.
After taking care of her son, it was only natural that she wouldn't neglect the little guy's father.
And Su Mo would never refuse anything from Yin Yin.
So, he ended up eating too much as well.
The father and son exchanged glances, understanding each other's plight. Even though they were uncomfortably full, it was a sweet burden to bear.
After dinner, concerned about her husband and son who had overeaten, Yin Yin took them for a walk around the community to help them digest.
The community was in an excellent location with top-notch security, attracting celebrities, wealthy businessmen, and dignitaries.
Four years ago, the original owner had been reluctant to go public with Su Mo, so the villa they bought was in a more remote part of the community, where few people passed by.
Now, even though Yin Yin planned to go public eventually, it wasn't the right time yet. So, she still wore a mask and hat whenever she went out.
At around seven o'clock in the evening, the community's lights came on, illuminating the small bridges, flowing water, pavilions, and waterside terraces. The environment was serene, with a gentle breeze making it perfect for a walk.
As the family of three strolled through the community, they passed by popular walking spots, where more people were gathered.
Su Mo initially worried that someone might recognize Yin Yin, but seeing her relaxed demeanor and Dudu's happiness, he gradually let his concerns fade.
As the family walked further, a second-tier star suddenly stopped and, looking at their retreating figures, said thoughtfully to the person beside her, "Wasn't that man Su Mo?"
"Su Mo? Who's that?"
"The young actor who became famous overnight four years ago. I don't know why, but he retired from the industry despite having so much potential. It's such a pity." She remembered Su Mo because of his striking looks. "I didn't expect him to be living in the same community as us."
"I don't know Su Mo, but the woman next to him, wearing the mask and hat, looked a lot like Queen Yin," the other person remarked.
"How is that possible?" The star immediately dismissed the idea. "That was a family of three, and the child looked about three or four years old. Queen Yin has always been single, and everyone around her says she's a workaholic. How could she possibly be married with children?"
"That's true."
