Transported To A New World?!

The sun's bright ray leaked through the curtains of the dark room, waking up a young girl who was trying to fall asleep after pulling an All-nighter. Getting annoyed, the girl threw the thick, puffy blanket over her face.

That dreadful girl was me, Uyeme Suneko, a 21year old who was unemployed, single and no plans for the future. Although my parents urged me to get a job and a loving husband but I found that all to be a drag. Instead I choose to be a shut in, watching vtubers and playing games. Even though I didn't seem like much of a gamer, I was a expert.

And just when I was about to go back to sleep.

*KNOCK*

*KNOCK*

Hearing those knocks at my front door overwhelmed me with the desire to not live after. I Threw the covers off of me, quickly got up and left my safe and secluded dark room of solitude to see what bastard ruins my sleep.

Walking past a mirror in the hallway that reflected my long white hair. Then past an old photo that shined my light orange eyes, In which resembled the sun. I got that compliment a lot by my parents.

Finally reaching the front door, I was filled with frustration, opening the door quickly.. But no one was there.

'..Did I just get ding dong ditched..?' I stared outside in confusion.

I took a second to look around for anything or anyone. But no sign of people besides my resident neighbors doors on the floor I lived on. I let out a huge sigh, before shutting the door, I had noticed a book on the floor with a letter.

Picking up the letter I read it out loud.

"For Uyeme, enjoy the gift? Read with caution..? What bastard disturbed my sleep for a damn book." I slammed the door in outrage. Couldn't believe they didn't bother to show their face to me. And the book.. It looked old and ancient. And weird.

Heading back to my room, I tossed the old creepy looking book onto the nightstand and jumped back in bed. Letting out another sigh, I was fully ready for a good day's nap until... A rattling noise had disturbed me before I could even close my eyes.

I sighed aggressively, now facing the nightstand to see the book shaking violently.

"What the hell..?" It caught me by surprised.

The ancient book, had a padlock to prevent it from opening. Unless someone opens it themselves. In which I took it upon herself to see what's with this strange book that ended at my doorstep.

Removing the padlock, I slowly opened the book only to find all the pages we're empty. Besides the last page, it seemed like it held some kind of instructions.

[The Book Of SpellHardt]

[Those whom open the book, destined life resides in the book]

[Say these words to begin your journey]

Unknowingly and foolish, I had read the words outloud.

"I pledge, Flesh and Soul. To the Spellhardt family, as their loyal maid."

Within saying those words, the book flashes vibrant colors. I closed my eyes to shield them from the blinding lights.

Slowly opening them up once again. Everything was blurry.. As it slowly cleared up, I found herself in a massive mansion. Surrounded by maids and butlers. As if they we're expecting my arrival.

I took a look around, as I stood confused, still holding the book in my hands.

"Welcome to the Spellhardt Mansion, I trust you'll be a great service to us?" A stern voiced, echoed in the massive room, as all the maids, and butlers stood at attention facing the man walking down the dazzling stairs.

"Let me introduce myself, I am Roland Spellhardt. It's a pleasure to finally be acquainted with you.. As we been waiting upon your arrival for 400 years."

The man chuckled, holding his glass filled with wine.

"Ah, Almost forgot.. I am the head of this household. You will be working along your fellow comrades."

Shocked, confused, weirded out and still missing sleep. I threw the book on the floor and yelled.

"I have no clue what's going! But I want to go home! I don't know any of you people and especially bringing me here from my own free will!"

Roland stared in confusion?

"You decided to come here after reading the words on the book.. So you cannot blame anyone but yourself.. Anyways.. I have things to attend to, so my maids will show you to your chambers and get you situated."

With a snap of his fingers the maid's began to move, bringing me to a different room of the mansion. I struggled and pushed but it was no use, I even tried shouting for them to let me go, but again no use.

There was no point in yelling, all it did was letting whoever else residing in the mansion, know of my arrival. I just want to be home.
