The Mana Pool—for an Awakened, the Mana Pool was the foundation of everything.

It wasn't just a reserve of power—it was the very source of their strength, the wellspring from which all their abilities flowed. Without it, no Awakened could wield their elements, cast their skills, or even channel their energy.

But for the first sixteen ranks, the Mana Pool was inaccessible.

Awakened could feel it, sense its presence deep within themselves, but they couldn't enter it. It existed as a distant force, an ocean of untapped potential locked away beneath layers of limitation. They could draw power from it, shape it through their techniques, but the Mana Pool itself remained an unreachable abyss.

That changed at Rank 16.
