GETTING BACK ON TRACK

"Where are the children?" Ling Li asked Pharsa when she came out of the room again.

"They have their lessons," Pharsa replied.

"Do they need these lessons? They are still very young!" Four Eyes just came out of the children's room and said in a profoundly desperate voice.

"Yes, they do. The younger they start, the better." Ling Li responded firmly.

"Maybe the alphabet and the numbers are fine, but they are memorizing the multiplication table at three months old." Four Eyes retorted with his brows almost knitted together. Despair for his children was evident in his voice.

"Because in mathematics, the multiplication table is the only constant. It will never change. If you memorize it, you can do everything in mathematics." Ling Li explained. "After mastering it, the rest will just easily follow through."

Four Eye purses his lips and walks out from them without a word.
