“You should rest here until your agents get you a nice apartment, and Roy? Don't go lavishly buying a big house just to show off to your female friends,” Rex said to Roy, dropping off his brother's luggage into the guest room's wardrobe.
“You didn't hear a word I uttered, right?”
“Oh…man, I was busy interacting with my phone.”
“Chatting with the girl you met at the restaurant?”
“Her name is Maya, pay some respect.”
“You exchange numbers and not up to an hour later, you're smiling like an idiot while interacting with the female?”
“You say that because you're unaware of what we're talking about.”
“Do I even want to know?”
“I could always show you.”
Rex scoffed, already picturing the image likely to be displayed on his brother's phone.
A younger Rex would have leaned in to peep, or probably snatched the device from his twin’s hand, just to admire the female's sexy frame, but not this time.
Nursing the thoughts of just one female in mind.
