TRANSITION ON PENGUIN STREET

Penguin City Street - Night

Ruby, Moses and Sabrina ran down the street late at night trembling in fear. It was only a matter of time before they got exhausted. The strange men were behind them and they were getting closer. They leaped through the roofs at inhuman speed like ninjas

"Wait guys.... Lets hide here" Ruby yelled and pointed to a restaurant nearby

Ruby stopped running and dragged the others into the restaurant. They entered and ran to the back seat.

"Hey what are you kids doing in here this late.... we're closed for the day" A waiter said blatantly as he approached Ruby and her friends who were obviously scared to the death.

They were breathing so hard due to the exhaustion and fatigue. Moses grabbed a cup of leftover water on the table and gulped it up.

"You know .....that's not so healthy for you....you need water....it's over...." The waiter was about to complete his statement when a great psionic force blasts through the windows, ripping the entire entrance apart including the walls.

"Oh my God!" The waiter screamed as a shard of glass came at his chest piercing through his lungs. Blood splattered everywhere and the other waiters rushed out of the inner chambers of the restaurant.

It was the dark sillhouette and his minions, they were outside.

The whole restaurant was surrounded by them and their leader who had the strange red stone in his palm. He walked towards the restaurant slowly. His presence was so ominous and he emitted a dark powerful energy. His entire physique was dark and he clearly wasn't a joke, he was the real deal.

The waiters were trying to revive their wounded colleague while Ruby was just standing there shivering in fear. She couldn't move as a strange force was pulling her down.

"Ruby! He's coming" Moses yelled.

"I don't want to die" Sabrina replied.

"Since when did you come back to your senses?" Moses asked Sabrina curiously.

"Hello Ruby....." The dark figure kept moving closer. He extended his palm revealing the stone again which began to float.

"It's no use running....." the dark figure continued moving closer.

Moses and Sabrina began to levitate and choke on air. They groaned in discomfort as the dark figure compressed their lungs with his psionic powers.

"Come with me or your friends die..." The dark figure commanded blatantly

The waiters on seeing this ran to hide behind the tables.

Ruby was at a stand still, she was shocked to the bones as the dark figure snuffed the life slowly out of her friends.

"Stop!" Ruby yelled as tears ran down her eyes.

The dark figure further extended his palm and conjured up a dark red energy which he shot into the sky with immense power opening portal right above them.

Ruby walked out of the restaurant towards the dark figure who stood below the portal. Moses and Sabrina were dropped to the ground and they gasped for breath.

"Ruby! Don't go" Moses yelled as he coughed and gasped for more breath.

Another portal opened right beside them in a split second and some strange people emerged from within, three of them in strange glowing futuristic armors and helmets.

"Watch out guys.... They're dangerous " their leader, a female said as she activated her fire power.

The three stood there for split second before they charged at the dark sillhouette at amazing speed. The dark figure also charged back along with his minions and a battle ensued.

The female leader went straight for the dark sillhouette while the other two battled his minions.

The female leader who had the ability to conjure objects with fire created a fiery sword and the dark figure created a red glowing sword. They battled at amazing speed and the sound of fiery blades clashing filled the air. The dark figure was faster and his stroke was defined. He overpowered the female leader with a kick which sent her flying into a nearby streetlight.

She stood back up and the battle continued. She conjured a fire ball and blasted the dark sillhouette away. The red stone in his palm fell off and landed close to Ruby.

The other two armored guys fighting were surprised when the minions disappeared into smoke

The dark sillhouette ran towards his stone but he was quickly cornered by the female leader who punched him into a trash can. She rolled him over and pinned him down but it was only a matter of time before she was overwhelmed again.

"Hey kid!.....grab the stone!" The female leader screamed.

Moses and Sabrina rushed towards Ruby to drag her away from the whole battle.

"You heard her kid.....pick up the stone! Or we all die!" One of the armored guy yelled at Ruby.

Ruby bended and grabbed the stone and almost immediately she fell into a dark abyss. She screamed as she kept falling till she landed at the bottom. She stood up in pain and looked around, she was in a futuristic room filled with computers and monitor screens. She looked behind her and spotted a glass show room filled with mannequins wearing certain armors.

She walked through the entire showroom confused until a certain voice spoke to her from within.

"Choose one"

She closed her eyes and touched a certain armor and in a split second, she appeared back in the battle scene but this time, the stone sparked and released energy into her building fragment by fragment the armor onto her like a mason would.

"It worked.....she's an herald". One of the armored guys said blatantly.

Her hair began to grow longer and pink glowing stripes appeared on her growning hair and she began to levitate. Her eyes balls glowed and her armor was slim and well befitting. She landed back after transforming .

"Oh my" Sabrina muttered as he blocked the bright rays of light being emmited by Ruby from her eyes

She looked around and spotted the dark figure. He had already over powered everyone.

"You.....I knew you woul....." The dark sillhouette was about to complete his statement when his head went flying out of his neck.

Ruby in a split second had decapitated the enemy at insane speed.

"How did she do that?" The female leader asked herself.

Ruby suddenly fell to the ground and passed out. The armor on her turned into bright light and disappeared. Her hair grew short and went back to normal.

"Ruby!" Moses and Sabrina yelled as they ran towards her.
