TRAINING DAY JOE

White Heralds HQ

"Hurry.....I wanna be back in time.... don't wanna miss the regular show tonight!" Joe thundered out as he hopped into the vessel.

"I'm coming!....but seriously since we're gonna be back today, why carry all these things with us. These supplies.....are for those who plan on staying out doors for approximately three days" Ruby scurried from behind carrying several bags, survival packs and supplies at once effortlessly. Food, water, clothes, a tenth and some other camp survival tools and equipments.

"Where are we going?" Ruby asked as she hopped into the vessel.

"It's a secret" Joe replied with a mischievous smile on his face. He pressed some buttons on the vessel's control system and the engines roared to life, booting into active duty.

Jared, Kennedy and Shade were standing outside the vessel.

"Stay cool both of you...." Shade said

"Can somebody please tell me where we're going?" Ruby asked again.

"It's a secret Ruby.... you'll see" Jared replied her and pulled down a lever close to him drawing in enough energy from the solar generators of the HQ into the vessel to boost it's power.

Jared walked over to the Joe's windshield and peeped through the glass.

"Watch over the kid Joe...." Jared adviced

"Sure I will" Joe replied and pressed a button on the screen with a label "WARP". The vessel sparked and gathered energy as the engines whirled creating a strange force which exploded the vessel into tiny fragments.

Jared, Shade and Kennedy shaded their eyes from the bright shiny effect of the explosion and watched as the vessel disappeared. They stood there for some time in silence.

"So we extract them in three hours." Jared said as he turned around and walked away.

"Are they really gonna be fine? Keneddy asked in curiousity.

"Depends on who man's the boat"

66 MILLION YEARS AGO(THE MESOZOIC ERA)

A small baby dinosaur fed on grass along with it's siblings. Their mother sat at the hill top and watched over the youngsters when she noticed a bright blue light flash in the sky followed by the incoming of the vessle. She shrieked in fear and galloped down the hill along with her youngsters.

The vessel crash landed on the hill in a rough manner and slid down at full speed.

"Haaaaaaaaarg" Ruby screamed in fear as they crashed into several trees before finally coming to a stop at the bottom of the hill in front of the river. The vessel powered down and the engines shut off.

Ruby sat in the vessel in silence for a few seconds, the impact left her forever traumatized.

Joe kicked open the hatch and came out. He breath in the air around him and sighed in pleasure. He hopped down the vessel and looked around. There were several birds chirping around, several unknown birds that didn't exist anymore back in his world. He walked down to the river and took a look around before coming back to the vessel.

"Hey Ruby.... come on grab the bags..... let's go" Joe said.

Ruby stood up still traumatized and came out with the bags through the hatch. She took a deep breath and quickly ran over to a nearby tree to puke.

"Hahahahahaha" Joe laughed his hearts out as he watched Ruby vomit everything she ate hours earlier.

Ruby cleaned her mouth and looked back at Joe who immediately stopped laughing.

"You punk!...what the hell was that?" Ruby asked angrily.

"A time warp" Joe replied as he walked up the hill.

"Oh" Ruby never expected to hear that.

"That's the usual response... we're back in time Ruby....." Joe said.

They both climbed up the hill till they reached the very top. The view up there was out of this world. To the right, they saw a gigantic green rain forest and to the left, a wide expance of the ocean with several hundreds of alien looking birds flying around. Dinosaurs and ancient beasts were everywhere.

"Ohh" Ruby's eyes widened in surprise, apparently she had never seen anything like it in her life.

"Welcome to the Mesozoic Era Ruby" Joe said with a bright smile.

"Why are we here?" Ruby asked in curiousity.

"We're here to retrieve a special jurrasic egg.....that's our mission. And that egg belongs to a guy who lives over there" Joe replied as he pointed to a fiery volcano on an island a few kilometers from them across the ocean.

Ruby stared at the volcano island and fear gripped her. She had never seen an active volcano before.

"What could probably live and survive on a volcano island.....some ancient beasts or something?" Ruby asked herself.

"Let's move Ruby" Joe started down the hill.

"I don't need to walk. I can fly" Ruby said as she took a leap off the hill carrying all the bags with her. She fell back to the ground rolling down the hill like a cylndrical trashcan.

She rolled past Joe who busted into laughter as she watched her roll to a stop below the hill.

Ruby faced the sky in silence and in disappointment, why didn't her flight abilities work?.

"The atmosphere here is pretty different.....and so is the gravity....you can't fly, you can't lift heavy objects, and I can't use Telekinesis. We're basically powerless here and we can't transform" Joe said as he helped Ruby up.

"Oh no" Ruby muttered

"Yeah that's the usual response..." James laughed again and again.

"Oh no...Joe" Ruby muttered again.

Joe laughed heartlessly as he made fun of Ruby.

"Joe..... Run"

Joe turned around and saw a long mega anaconda, one which was as big and long a subway train.

Ruby threw some of the supplies at Joe who caught it, there was no way she could carry all the supplies due to her lack of power. They ran into the forest as the snake chased the hell out of them.

The snake swivelled around and knocked Ruby into a tree with it's magnificent tail. She passed out instantly.

"Ruby!" Joe screamed

Joe ran back to help unconscious Ruby about was knocked out cold by one tail sweep from the snake. He fell to the ground and the snake coiled round him.
