---------------------------------AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhh hhh. A resonating scream echoed, drawing everyone's attention towards the young master of the Nagadhha beggar sect
It wasn't surprising that everyone gaze went there. of course Ji Yan also included few who survived in one piece and cleared trial 1.
Young master was struggling. Maybe too much.
He was surrounded by a large crowd and hanged in a long and strong tree branch and struggled visibly, surrounded by a throng, hanging in anguish from the branch. Blood dripped from his feet, pooling beneath him
The blood that was dripping from his feets was going straight to dogs and pigs. Had he fallen, those cute doggies and piggys would have torn him apart; fortunate for him, he managed to hold on.
he wasn't given any food or water for days. Surely days of deprivation from food and water took a toll, evident in his weakening state; his brain seemed on the brink of shutdown, fueled only by the fear of being devoured by the feracious dog and cute piggies.
Ji Yan wondered how long it would take his protein-based nanomachines under the scorching sun, pondering their denaturation and eventual cessation. If he didn't succumb to weakness and fall from the tree as intended, death by overheating seemed inevitable.
Ji Yan understood but found it surprising that despite the excruciating circumstances, the young master persevered in his struggle.
Ji Yan still couldn't feel bad for him when he and Ji Yan both started from same point but he ended up there and Ji Yan here as messiah of the same world but different continuity.
"Don't give up" A young brat screamed.
"We belive you can survive this." A young and petite girl screamed fiercely tears streaming down her face. "You will win this trial," she whispered. "Remember our promise?"
Ji Yan internally reflected on their display of youthful affection and spoke inwardly while giving a smile "Young love, huh?"
Ji Yan comprehended their sentiments but found it challenging to empathize fully. The sheer agony experienced by the young master clearly transcended the small world and started affected him in real world to his real body. Why did they not want him to give up on his trial and let him die in peace? He pondered to himself.
Ji Yan was also intrigued noticing the meticulous cruelty - the young master intricately fastened to the tree branch, his tortured skin sewn into it, every finger bound together by strings attached to mutilated finger muscles. Meanwhile, men atop another tree aggravated his wounds, inducing continuous and unbearable agonizing pain.
Interestingly he was hanged to the tree not by rope or any such thing. He was uncarefully sticked to the tree branch. His entire back skin was plundered apart and stiched to the tree.
It was amazing for Ji Yan to see such determination that despite His pain and his sorry shutting down state, consistently uttered one word: "Freedom."
Unneeded to say he died and came back to reality in a sorry state.
Predictably, the young master succumbed and was marked by failure with a mere 31% and deemed unfit for the second trial.
Despite his failure, the crowd applauded him for his valiant struggle against chains that denied all freedom, even the acknowledgment of his humanity.
Why did he get 31%? he was remembered in history for fighting against slavery but Slavery was removed due to fall of empire and not because of his death.
I mean People are remarkably tolerant of oppression if they are made to be believed they are well fed and made coward through narrative. I was a living testament to it. What I did was made them believe that I was doing God's work and the God send his angel to me to write this Gospel. There were other factors involved too but let's leave it.
Poor him but his dedication to fighting oppression in his own empire was a testament to his commitment to justice and equality for all people. I gave him my salute inwardly.
"It seems I'm first," I addressed the seniors, or rather, the Judges.
"Yes, you can leave and take rest for the second trial which will be conducted tomorrow," replied the Judges.
"Understood," I said, bowing down as my identity needed to remain secret until the trial.

"He is undeniably talented, but it's regrettable that he is so ruthless and willing to go to any lengths to achieve his goals."
"Yes, considering his actions in the first trial, cracking the second trial seems near to impossible for him."
"Don't underestimate him. Haven't you just spoken with him? He's a genius. Let's be patient and see what surprises he brings to the second trial."
"Yes, you're right. If he's a genuinely wise, he should be able to do what he can't or finds difficult. he should be."
"Life isn't fair let's not judge him. The way he conducted himself shows that he's formidable. He has the capability to commit evil; does he also have the capacity to live without succumbing to influence of the four great evils?? That's something we should look forward to."
