Preparing for the Unseen

The coalition’s strategy room was steeped in a quiet tension, thick as the shadows pooling around the dimly lit space. Maps and intel reports covered every inch of the walls, hastily pinned with notes and tactical overlays. In the center of it all stood Biodun, calm and collected, but his eyes betrayed the storm brewing within him. Before him lay a newly decoded intelligence report, its details sharp and chilling.

“The faction we intercepted last month,” Biodun began, letting his words hang in the air. “They’re back—and they’re planning something big. We don’t have much time, and this won’t be a straightforward fight.”

Across the table, Tunde’s face darkened as he scanned the map, noting a ring of red marks that circled the edge of coalition territory. “What do we know about their plan?”

Biodun’s finger hovered over the marks, his expression grim. “Not much. But they’re gathering forces here, right under our noses. They’re positioning to strike hard and fast.”
