"I'm just looking over the lectures we'll be covering in class tomorrow."

I dials the number… and the call connects…

With that, Parker heads down.

This guy… What does he think about all day long?

Just then, Rin peeks out from the classroom and calls me over.

"Hey… didn't i say good morning earlier… and you didn't even reply?"

"You're supposed to be full of energy in the morning, you know… What's up with you, Mr. Onii? Why aren't you full of energy?"

"I stayed up late watching anime."

"Oh really… you shouldn't stay up so late… it'll hurt your eyes."

We kept talking until the school bell rang, and it was time to start class.

I heard someone calling from the back…

"Mr. Onii, didn't you say you'd give a prize for a perfect score?"

After school, all the students headed home.

Today there's a game show… I should head out too… I change out of my uniform and into casual clothes before heading out.

I turn around and saw Rin ..

"Oh, Rin… you haven't gone home yet?"

"Nope, the car is in still traffic.. it's gonna late today."

"How about you come with me, Rin? I'm heading to a game show nearby."

So, the two of us chatted as we made our way to the game show.

So, I gave it a shot… and Rin got totally hooked.

"Omg, this is so much fun… I need to make an account… then we can race against each other, right?"

After playing a few rounds…

"Hello… oh, Mom, are you here already? Okay, I'll come down."

Looks like Rin's mom has arrived…

"Onii, my mom's here, so I'll get going."

"Alright, I'll walk you down."

So, the two of us headed downstairs.

"Did you have fun today, Rin?"

"Yeah, it was a blast… driving was so much fun."

"Glad to hear that."

"So… are you free tomorrow? If you are, we can go play again."

"I'm free… let's go race again if you want."

"Alright."

"Well, I'm off now, Sensei… bye-bye."

"Take care, little one."

She smiles and waves as she leaves.

I find myself smiling too…

She doesn't seem to mind me calling her "little one" anymore…

So, I headed back… And as I was adjusting my sleeve, Rin's scent lingered…

I smiled…
