The Despairing Prince

Fiadh brought her dinner and Rache ate, staring at the large fireplace in the library.

She was silent, but of course Fiadh never was. That was part of her charm.

"This is a beautiful room. I'm not sure if you noticed the portraits of the past Sideran royals?"

She hadn't, actually.

She'd been so focused on looking at the books that she hadn't bothered to even glance at the decorations hanging in the room.

Her eyes roamed across the room. There were several portraits hanging on the wall. Some were large, while others were small and unassuming.

To be fair, without Fiadh there was no way she'd have known who any of them were, anyway.

"I...I didn't." She said honestly. "Who is that?"
