In the distance, the mountains of Sidera began to loom upon the horizon, slowly encroaching like dark and ominous shadows across a vast landscape.
From this angle, the sky appeared almost as though it was reaching down from the clouds to claim the world below.
The clouds were tinged an orange and purple color, like bruises on a wounded body, from the oncoming sunset.
