Gates of the Apocalypse

The first rays of dawn crept over New Haven, bathing the valley in a pale, golden light. The team stood assembled in the mansion's courtyard, their weapons and supplies meticulously prepared. The tension in the air was palpable, a silent acknowledgment of the danger they were walking into. George looked over his team, Lucy, Raven, Jackie, Stephanie, and Akari, each of them resolute despite the looming threat.

"Everyone knows the plan," George said, his voice steady. "We follow the energy trail Akari picks up, locate the master vampire's lair, and end this. Stay together, stay focused, and don't take unnecessary risks."

Akari nodded, her hands already glowing faintly as she prepared to track the energy. "The trail will get stronger the closer we get. I'll let you know if anything changes."

Marcy and John stood by the gates, watching as the team prepared to leave. "We'll keep the town secure," Marcy assured George. "Just make sure you come back."
