The defeat of the two Apostles bought Amon some time. Initially, he believed that the combined powers of the Hero and the Saintess would be sufficient to defeat or, at the very least, immobilise the twins. But the reality was far from kind.
Dante and Damien were Apostles of the Demon Cult, the foremost fighters that terrorised Hyades in the future. There was no way they would be defeated that easily.
A dark, malevolent mist surrounded the two Apostles, pulling them toward one another with an almost inevitable force. Amon tried to prevent their union, but the demonic fog was too dense to control. The growing miasma reminded him of the countless Greater Demons he had once battled—and worse, it filled his soul with an overwhelming terror. There was no mistaking it now: the Twin Brutes were being graced with the Demon King's blessing, and there was nothing Amon could do to stop it.
