Going Home (2)

Elion didn't wait long before he saw Seraphina approaching, still dressed in the same outfit as before. He noticed she didn't have any visible bags and assumed she had stored everything in a space ring.

They used the portal to teleport to Elandor, the closest city to Skywood, Elion's hometown. From there, they mounted Fenrir and arrived in Skywood in less than half an hour.

"This guy is really comfortable to ride," Seraphina remarked with a smile.

Elion nodded.

[A mythical beast used as a mount—indeed, a sad sight,] Valen commented dryly.

"Where's your home, El?" Seraphina asked, curiously taking in the houses around them.

"It's over there," Elion said, pointing to a small two-floor wooden house about fifty meters away.

Elion walked up to his home front door with Seraphina by his side and knocked. "Mom, Valeria, it's me, Elion."
