Enel, the Thunder God, is a Logia-type Devil Fruit user who possesses the powers of the Goro Goro no Mi (Rumble-Rumble Fruit).
Although he seems lazy on the surface, he has a cruel nature and doesn't hesitate to strike down even women if they stand against him.
Aside from his Devil Fruit abilities, Enel also possesses an extremely powerful ability called "Mantra."
Mantra is a power that lets him sense the presence of others from a great distance, even when they are out of sight. It allows him to predict his enemies' movements—it's essentially mind-reading or "the power of listening."
What makes Enel even more dangerous is that he can combine his Devil Fruit powers with Mantra, using electric waves to greatly expand his sensing range. This allows him to hear the voices of everyone on Sky Island.
Simply put, Mantra is a highly advanced form of Observation Haki.
Upon hearing Enel's arrogant laugh, both Wyper and Gan Fall's faces darkened in dread.
Soon, a figure appeared from within the thunderclouds. Enel, wearing a white turban, long earlobes adorned with earrings, a bare upper body, and four drums engraved with three tomoe on his back, made his entrance. He was carrying a golden staff, and his lower half was dressed in loose pants. He walked barefoot, with golden rings on his toes, his skin pale like a woman's. Despite his laid-back attitude, there was a roguish charm about him.
Five of his subordinates, each with unique appearances, accompanied him. They descended from the thunderclouds like gods coming down from the heavens, appearing before Wyper and Gan Fall in an instant.
"Who the hell are you?!" Even though he was covered in injuries, Gan Fall raised his weapon, pointing his spear directly at Enel.
Enel smiled lazily and said, "I am Enel, the Thunder God. From this moment on, this island will be my domain."
"Dream on!" Wyper, despite his wounds, immediately activated his dials and charged at Enel, aiming to use the Reject Dial strapped to his bandaged arm to take him down.
But as soon as Wyper reached out to strike, Enel casually extended his own right hand, positioning his index finger just inches from Wyper's forehead.
"Wyper, get out of there!" Gan Fall shouted in alarm, sensing the danger.
Wyper's eyes widened in determination—he was ready to die taking Enel down with him.
Enel's smile turned sinister, while his subordinates watched with equally mocking grins.
Before Wyper could activate his Reject Dial, a small but deadly current of electricity surged from Enel's fingertip, striking Wyper directly.
Wyper didn't even have time to react. Though the shock seemed minor, it was actually a powerful 2 million volts of electricity that knocked him to the ground instantly.
An ordinary person hit with 2 million volts would either be dead or unconscious. But Wyper's immense physical strength and vitality allowed him to stay conscious, despite the tremendous pain.
"That's the price of defying a god," Enel said as he pulled his hand back. He looked down at Wyper, who was still struggling to prop himself up, and laughed. "Yahaha... It seems you're tougher than I expected. I'll give you a chance—if you swear loyalty to me, I'll make you one of my priests."
"Damn you…" Wyper gritted his teeth, barely managing to stand by using his bazooka for support. Even though he was at a disadvantage, his eyes blazed with fury. "I will never serve a false god like you!"
"Tch, so stubborn," Enel yawned, digging his finger in his ear.
At that moment, one of Enel's men, a bald man named Ohm, who wore a green vest and carried a long sword on his shoulder, chuckled. "Lord Enel, let us deal with this disobedient fool. There's no need for you to dirty your hands."
"No," Enel waved him off. "I am a god. I must be merciful. There's no need to kill so recklessly. Isn't it more fun to let them live in fear, crushed under my power?"
Ohm and the others nodded in agreement.
Gan Fall clenched his spear tightly, his face contorting with anger. "Ruling through fear and using people like puppets—that is not the way of a true god! You don't deserve to be called a god! I will stop you, even if it costs me my life!"
"Oh?" Enel's eyes gleamed with interest. "You want to experience the wrath of a god for yourself?"
"As the god of Upper Yard and Angel Island, I cannot allow you to continue your tyranny!" Gan Fall shouted as he dashed toward Enel, his spear aimed at the self-proclaimed god's heart.
Wyper, though injured, also tried to join the fight, but his body wasn't capable of continuing.
Enel's eyes twinkled mischievously as he casually sidestepped Gan Fall's attack. "So, you were the previous god of this land? Yahaha, as the new god of this domain, I'll reward you for taking care of it before I arrived. How about I give you two minutes? I won't move. You can try to kill me however you like. But after two minutes, you'll understand the power of a real god."
"Arrogant bastard! You'll regret underestimating me!" Gan Fall roared as he thrust his spear into Enel's body.
However, despite the spear piercing through Enel's chest, the attack caused no harm. Instead, electricity surged through the spear and shocked Gan Fall.
His body began to go numb from the electricity, and Gan Fall quickly pulled his spear back. To his horror, the hole in Enel's chest closed up instantly, sparks of electricity sealing the wound.
Enel yawned again, clearly bored. "This is the strength of the former god? How disappointing."
Gan Fall, angered and undeterred, launched another fiery attack, sending a wave of flames at Enel.
Enel remained motionless, letting the flames engulf him. His subordinates chuckled as they watched Gan Fall pour everything he had into the assault.
For two whole minutes, Gan Fall kept up his relentless attack, but it was futile.
When the time was up, Enel smiled coldly. "Time's up, former god." Raising his right hand, he spread his fingers and aimed them at Gan Fall. "Here's a little gift for you: 20 million volts. Enjoy. Yahaha!"
Wyper's face grew pale. If 2 million volts had left him barely standing, 20 million volts would be impossible to withstand.
Gan Fall quickly tried to retreat, but Enel moved even faster, appearing right in front of him with a chilling grin.
Just as Enel's hand, crackling with deadly electricity, was about to strike Gan Fall, a figure suddenly appeared out of nowhere, delivering a punch that sent Enel flying.
