Even though the other kids were still taking their tests, the surroundings seemed quiet from my perspective.
I lost the battle, but I gained victory over something I wanted.
"This is my loss," said Alexander, looking disappointed in himself.
"Well, I had the advantage," I said honestly, as I had restarted the exact battle three times.
"I will accept this and hone my abilities to be able to compare with you. Do not feel down since the test is not about being undefeated, but being able... but I believe you already knew that," he said, showing the utmost respect expected from a future knight.
"I will remember that."
After the fight, Alexander and I had a brief discussion about our swordsmanship and commented on the remaining battles.
Among those remaining battles, David showed the best result, to the point of making Alexander curious if he could defeat him or not.
