Heroes

A week had passed since that chaotic, laughter-filled night at the restaurant. Life had resumed at the guild, and the daily rhythm of missions and training continued.

I had taken on a few smaller jobs over the past several days nothing too dangerous, mostly deliveries and assisting with minor tasks around the town.

But I was starting to feel that familiar itch, the pull toward something bigger, something that would challenge me again.

I had proven myself in that team challenge, standing my ground and working with a group that had once been a wild, uncoordinated mess.

And yet, despite that success, there was still so much I hadn't seen, so much I hadn't done. My rank had changed to E, a small but significant step forward, and I knew that with it came more responsibility and, hopefully, more thrilling missions.
