First mission with the group

The days since I joined the heroes' group had passed quickly, filled with new routines and an overwhelming sense of belonging I had never expected.

Today, though, was quieter. I found myself at the guild, seated at a small wooden table across from Sylia.

The midday sun filtered through the large windows, casting soft golden light across the room. The chatter of adventurers filled the air, mixing with the clink of silverware and the faint sound of wind chimes outside.

The smell of roasted meat and fresh bread wafted through the room, comforting and warm.

Sylia leaned back in her chair, taking a sip of her tea as we talked. "So," she said, setting her cup down, "how are you settling in with your new group? Quite the leap from solo missions, I imagine."

I chewed thoughtfully on my bread before answering. "It's different. But in a good way. They're a bit... intense, but they're good people. I feel like I'm learning a lot being around them."
